@mahiru20ten I wish more privateers got factory rides and I do agree with you we need more privateers but I also miss having the factory guys back too. But yes I'm not trying to take away from them, they're definitely the backbone in the end.

They are traveling the planet. Privateers can't afford it..... they are also prolly better

It seemed strange. At first, I thought the description was a mistake and this was some type of feeder series. 21 for MX2 and 19 for MXGP? Obviously things are different in that series compared to American motocross, but do they not allow "local privateers" to try to qualify? Do the bigger teams, or factory teams, have development riders or anything like that? It seems like everybody would benefit if the large teams brought up some of their lower guys to race and also if they allowed other privateers to qualify. I'm American and my local national is right down the road in Washougal. I used to race there at the amateur nationals every year and now that my little brother has his Pro license, I go to help out and watch him race and try to qualify. The number of riders who are pro and still don't make it thru timed qualifying and into the LCQ race is a lot, even for this out of the way race in the northwest part of the northwest of the country. Filling a gate for the race isn't a problem. There's enough pro licensed riders to fill multiple gates if that's what they wanted to do. When MXGP travels to different countries, how could they possibly end up with less than a full gate? They didn't even have half a gate this time. There must be some rules that prevent that from happening in cases like this but I can't imagine what those are or why that would be a positive thing. Somebody here must know how that happens and why...??

​@@justlucky8254 even in AMA there are riders in main 15sec a lap slower than leaders and often in the way. With 21 riders definitely safer and fairer if thats the word.

@@randykiik3687 Not even, 2 weeks ago was really the first time Jett was fighting anyone but himself for the win and he won anyways, all we got over here is a few B class factory motocross riders and a a recovering Sexton and Ferrandis fighting for 2nd place 🙄

I would bet that a lot of the privateers could not afford to make the trip to Indonesia.

How many riders would show up if Pro Motocross🇺🇲 hosted a race in Alaska or Hawaii? At least MXGP tries New markets outside unlike the SuperMotocross "World Championship"

@@DanielMartinez-dv5pm The point flew right over your head, didn't it? The factory teams and some privateers would show up in Hawaii or Alaska, but many privateers simply could not afford the trip. Same thing with MXGP going to Indonesia. What is the point of going to a new market if half of the teams can't afford to go? If the MXGP sanctioning body wants more teams showing up at far flung events, they should cover some of the cost of getting them there And WTF is "SuperMX World Championship"?
