Why doesn't he spend 60 Billion on homelessness. The homeless problem in California is really bad. I have seen how bad it is in Oakland, and San Francisco. A real problem he has ignored. It should not take a ballot initiative to address these people who have been ignored. People are also sleeping in their cars here too.

The problem is that a lot of these homeless refuse to get help because it comes with strings such as you can't drink, do drugs, and there are curfews in which they have to be back to their shelters. So, it's either that or the streets. There's also programs to help them find employment opportunities, but why work when you can beg for money on the streets too.

I'm glad it only cost the taxpayers 200 million, but that doesn't include the cost of the campaigns and donations people made to whichever candidates they supported (which I know doesn't have to do with the state budget). Immigrants are not getting free things while not paying taxes. They get an EIN like everyone else, pay sales taxes, property taxes, vehicle taxes, etc. Immigrants don't get free tuition any more easily than you or your kids do, if you're poor you get the Pell grant, there are scholarships, etc. Hell I was a poor student and I got the Pell grant. It's not hard to do just be poor enough or score high on tests or a combination of the two. Trade schools are crying for people and again, there are lots of ways to get free trade training. *Someone* is forgetting their their own ancestors probably came to the US and only spoke German or Lithuanian for a generation or two....
