October 8, 1984 - the very night NBC aired the world broadcast premiere of "The Burning Bed" starring Farrah Faucett. It trounced ABC MNF 49ers-Giants and CBS "Kate & Allie", "Newhart" and "Cagney & Lacey" episodes that night. The NBC affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre affiliate is WBRE 28.
