My muffler got sooty. The red warning light came on and it shut down. Oil and gas levels are good. But it is completely dead. Ive cleaned the muffler but it still wont work. Any ideas? Used for about 4hrs a day for 1 month.

Got 2 of them brand new out the box either one of them stay running it cranks up then shuts off

Excuse me but that damn thing is not SILENT..I need a generator inverter to use in my cargo van to run my heater when I'm sleeping.. This thing is very loud

Yeah, they market it as "super silent" but it definitely makes noise. It is a lot quieter than some of the open frame generators I've heard. It is also a lot quieter on eco mode. I'm guessing you are using an electric heater? The Hondas tend to be the quietist but they are also very expensive.

You need a power station instead. They run much more expensive if you need it for a heater. Generally each 1 kWh will cost you near $1,000 USD. They are very silent, the fans are for cooling only. Normally Anker has the best price during sales. However, you need to do some research on the brands and models to future proof. For example, the cheapest power station may not have expandability; some power stations accept add-on when you need more power in the future. As for battery type you need to stick to LiFePO4(lithium iron-phosphate) for thousands of recharge cycles instead of mere hundreds. Bluetti, Anker, Jackery, Energizer, EcoFlow are some of the top brands to consider.

Yes the amazon reviews arent even from the generator but from another product. Im starting to see this happen a lot lately and should be reported for fraud.

Yeah fake reviews is a big issue on Amazon, sometimes a TV has reviews for a post card, it's ridiculous. This video review is legit though.
