Hi Maria. I have a few of the M&S cool comfort full length slips in neutral and black to wear under dresses. They stop the static and also help if the dress is a bit see through. They are not too hot at all and I would highly recommend them as they are so stretchy, smooth and incredibly comfortable xx

Try pushing a Pin or sewing needle through the tulip stork about 1 inch down from the flower head. Remove the pin, it allows the flower head to stand upright due to getting a better water supply. Most nurses know this trick after years of trying to look after patients flower gifts from family members. Loved the trousers by the way.

I like the black and white dress best. Also black trousers will be useful.

I loved the crochet jumper with the black trousers, they really suited you. I thought the top you liked was pretty but perhaps a little on the short side. I put a copper coin in my tulip vase it seems to help ! Thanks for doing the haul. I think next sizes are small - I have to size up. I thought the dress was pretty. Rub a tumble dryer sheet over it - that helps with static. X

All the clothes were lovely, just need the right sizes. It’s hard work getting size right and I also find M and S a bit bigger usually. I’ve also ordered an ecru skirt like that one - from M and S not Next - hoping it fits xx

Hi Maria. Cut a bit of the bottom then wrap them up tightly in paper and pop back in cold water leave for a couple of hours and should be fine. Tip from a florist xxx

About your tulips.get a pin or sewing needle and poke a hole all the way through the stem.about an inch or two from the top.

The only thing I liked was the black and white summer dress.

Add a small amount of sugar to the water, this will have tulips standing up in no time.

I think the problem with the first dress is the fact it is polyester. Shame. Loved the design - it is a bit different and I am sure the next size would be ideal. The black and white dress is really good - lov3 the low back- just a pity they ma de the front so high. Shame about the white skirt but I bet you will find the next size just perfect - it will suit you. The sweater is super…looks great on you together with those linen trousers. Definitely going to look for those. So pleased your nails are growing. I take collagen each day and am really pleased with it.xx Liz

Take the tulips out of the water. Snip the stems in a diagonal cut. Put a straight pin through the stem nearest the flower head. Put the flowers in some warm water 1/2 mins and then plunge them into very cold water in the vase. Should revive them and prevent the others falling over. The stems are hollow and sometimes can be come air locked.

Put a penny in the water I’ve been told for tulips x

Ugh static - Sometimes you do get items which need to be dunked into a bowl of fabric conditioner before you can wear but you don't really expect to have to do it for the more expensive brands do you? Love the black and white dress. I wish they'd do some of those pull on linen dresses a bit longer though - I like better coverage over my knobbly knees.

Hi Maria,I didn’t like the first dress on you,or the top,I don’t think clothes with a band under the bust looks good on you,it makes you look more prominent in the tummy,the black and white dress didn’t do that,I like the look of the skirt,but if it gaped as much as you said, you may need to go up two sizes,the jumper isn’t my style,but it looked okay on you,I liked the black pants.Hope you had a lovely Mother’s Day
