I was wondering when this was going to get more into it after catching the kickstarter after it'd already closed. Happy to see this moving along and able to snag the rules for it. The art alone is awesome and makes me wanna do up some warbands for it.

Welcome! The game is a lot of fun and simple to play, and the setting is incredibly dark but interesting. Creators are great and we are close to getting a full campaing rules set soon (just waiting on the scenarios atm)
some of the artwork seems AI generated and then just fixed up. Can't put my finger on exactly why, but a few good examples are the templar images and the plague knights
They are woke, you might as well not even look into it. Don't think you'd fit in with the rest of us having fun and not caring about something we were told to hate a few months ago.

So it's yet another Vraks inspired thing like the Trenchfoot mod for doom that came out in 2020 - 2021. This aesthetic is just becoming more and more popular for some reason

I understand you're a Warhammer old head and I respect that you have helped build a hobby space not just for Warhammer but for tabletop gaming all over the world. But you must also realize people are allowed to have these opinions and people are allowed to not want to be around people that have conflicting opinions. Those that were kicked out of the discord (not community) were kicked out because they were harassing people and being vile human beings. They're allowed to play the game they are allowed to engage in the community the only rule is that you must be willing to shield off that part of yourself or accept others that way and I feel like that's a very small price to pay for what is so far an amazing game. I know that you probably don't care you just want an alternative to Warhammer that isn't "woke". But that's just a buzzword man for anything you don't like and I understand that. It's annoying when something that we love for so long is changed or "destroyed". Times change your game is still there if you don't like the changes that are being made who gives a fuk just play the game man, I'm sure there's a community out there for you and I hope you find it. Please put effort into that or make your own community man, instead of trying to destroy the reputation of others. That's the most respectful thing you can do. It's hard to move on from the things that we love but you might have to do that and I'm sorry and I at least will welcome you as long as you are accepting. I at this point am out of the hobby and only play pen & paper with my own written lore as the GM and nothing else. We will build everything up again on our own and we will surpass the corpo giants without any soul. Woke is not just a buzzword. Woke is when people can not define what a woman is.
I mean, given how well they handled the horrible "anti-woke" people trying to assert themselves in their hobby after Warhammer wouldn't accept them I'm absolutely going to be looking into this, it's clearly run by good people! I've seen some concept art and the demons look SO COOL!

I've been following some of the artists behind it as well as some other indie game creators that have been supporting this alongside Team 28 (the folks who are running the TC discord) and I'm very glad they dealt with those goons like they did. People need to start explicitly and openly pushing these kinds of people out of hobbies. Very hopeful for Trench Crusade's future, the miniatures and art are genuinely some of the best I've seen from an indie team in a good while and the folks behind it all are some really great and just wonderful people.
