This reminds me of some of the people I work with who are network engineers... but also software developers. I don't think they're necessarily a dying breed, but more and more software engineer-specific degrees are meant to get you up to speed on coding and certain PM stuff, it seems like. It feel like it curbs the natural curiosity of finding yourself learning AWS or trying something out in gns3. Learning to use Linux better, etc. Great video
