They say it will have longer range and hopefully a much shorter downtime to recharge from 0 to 100 percent. Will this thing be pricey or priced for all? This will be released in 2025 and available in Europe to start. Sorry America. Iam keeping an Eye on EVs with the hopes that i can find one that is a large full size luxury automobile, one that can fully charge in the same amount of time it takes to fully fuel a regular car which is 3 to 5 minutes and one that offers a range of atleast 500 plus miles and all for a price of 50 thousand dollars or less. I have 2 years to find one because it will be time to buy another car. Till then I'll keep my jaguar XJl. I only fuel up once a month, ( once a month) and takes me 3 to 5 minutes depending on wether or not i run in and grab a coffee. My range is 570 miles and is paid off at 41 thousand dollars. Improve the EV with these fine qualities and improvements, now we're talkin! Even the good people at Tesla in Philadelphia Pennsylvania told me quote: "Have patience because that day is coming!" Im not big on Tesla because they only make small cars and because i make the 831 mile trip from Lancaster Pennsylvania to Jacksonville Florida 3 times a year, i need a full size luxury automobile with comfort and a smooth ride along with, (range). I sure hope that in 2 years when it's time to get another car, i can find the right EV.

The problem with these Toyota EVs is range per charge. The EVs based on e-TNGA Platform contains Small Li-ion battery (about 80 kWh)with low range i.e >200 miles per charge.Toyota - Lexus ought to improve to march the competition.

I would hope Toyota builds a plug in EV With a gas engine running the generator only. I feel at this time in the EV switchover, this would be a good halfway point.
