I’ve read “The Secret” years ago and it got me through some challenging times when I only had myself to count on. It thought me to think better about myself, the thing I do, things I say and people I allow in my life. That bag👏🏾👏🏾

I tried to read the secret and really struggled with it. As someone who has quite bad anxiety at times I felt like it wasn't really appropriate. The idea that you make something happen by thinking it is not so helpful when you struggle with anxious thoughts. That being said, before I started suffering from anxiety I was always a very positive person and had a lot of self belief and I think it definitely does help in life. I think it's more about keeping your mind open to opportunities, believing in yourself and your ability to achieve, setting yourself long and short term goals etc more so than thinking you're going to have a ferrari one day and that being the key to getting it. Also the chapters on health are certainly a little questionable at times. Would love to know what you think.

I've read The Secret! I'm not a reader either but this book genuinely changed the way I think about life! My "Secret" story was during my 2nd lot of professional accounting exams.. I kept failing every single mock no matter how hard I tried, every week I would fail and every day I'd get home an just cry after a day of studying. I bought the book and it completely changed my mindset, when it came around to sitting the exams, I passed all 4 just fine!

I’ve read The Secret when I was 17 and it literally changed my life! I’m not a reader either, it’s probably one of the 3 books I actually finished. But it’s a very easy read. It takes time to get used to practicing the law of attraction, but once you do, it then comes 100% naturally. There is an audiobook version too, which is very convenient if you want a refresh but can’t bother to actually read the book again. Hope you enjoy it! ❤️

I must say that, couple of years back I went into depression and believe you me this book literately pulled me out of it, whenever I feel low that’s the book I reach out to and read it again n again... It has seriously helped me and made me the person I am. I highly recommend this book to everyone and since then I have been gifting this book to my friends and family, it’s definitely a must buy. Hi Victoria 😊 was gonna say if your having trouble with oat milk try the rude health one it's so tasty and all their drinks are gluten free and very natural tasting (I use their almond one) it is by far the best brand I've tried and it's a little bit sweeter (I find alot of the other ones taste salty and have little oat or almond in) take care 💖xx
Oooh use those little dior pillows as scented pillows for drawers or to keep inside bags/suitcases whilst not in use (anything really!) just fill with some dried lavender or grated soap flakes or essential oils. Nice tucked under a guest pillow (when you're allowed again) or stored with linens... Or you could remove the filling and make them into little drawstring bags or use as fabric wrapping for gifts?
I’ve never been so excited for spring and summer as I am this year. More sunlight, more time outside, and bright colors. I can’t afford that bag (yet!) but I’m inspired to buy a bag in that color for sure now.

I love watching home reno videos. Makes me excited about my future home if I can ever afford one. But I keep pinning home ideas on Pinterest. Also the refills on the lipsticks are AMAZING. IM SO HAPPY THAT A BRAND is doing that. Such a nice way to reduce waste
@@VictoriaMagrath if I go to Starbucks or anywhere I try to bring my reusable straw and bring a reusebale bag if I go out shopping. If I don't I use the plastic bags for my garbage cans. I gave ordered a lot from ikea during lockdown and my main complaint is the boxes are too for my products, even though it's recyclable and use recycled paper it's too much waste.

I really enjoyed the vlog! The dynamic between Victoria and Alex is so fun and real and yes you are exactly who you are on camera and in person. I have meet and talked to you both in America about three years ago in soho in front of Levis store, it was summer time and it was so great talking to you both. Victoria and Alex. They were so attentive, engaging while I talked their ears off. I was so excited to meet you but my one regret is that I didn't ask to take a photo of all of us together. I was eating a chocolate cookie and I was afraid I had chocolate stuck on my teeth and hands plus I didn't want to be rude and pick up any more of your personal time. It is great to see the joy of several achievements in this phase and feel everything genuine ♥ ️💯. I discovered that I had a certain intolerance to oats when I was on a "clean diet" for 4 months. It was a great challenge but I realized what made me have IBS and always be bloated, among other things. Good luck 🥠

Two things: 1) anyone who knows the colour of the eyeshadow at the beginning will have my eternal gratitude 2) whenever you don't want to forget something before going to bed, leave something on the floor (that usually isn't there). Next morning you'll think "huh, why did I leave it on the floor" and remember. Tadaaa!

I agree with what you said about what Maria has done for Dior! She has made the brand much more approachable and wearable for its customers i think. Like in the past (before she came along) i’d only purchase bag or shoes from the brand, but now i own custom jewelry and clothing ☺️ And i see Chanel is also trying to take the same route in their latest Spring collection, although I’m not really sure who would drop a couple $Ks for a tweed playsuit (considering they are targeting the more young-adults in the collection, and the styling was horrendous) 🥴

The podcast idea - would totally listen to that, actually me and my husband decided that we are doing one a week ago and the mics should arrive this week so hopefully will be able to record it this week, we have topics listed, thinking of calling it Midnight Coffee as normally what happens is that around 23:45 we get in to the long chats about life so kind of want to bring to to a podcast, I don’t know what will happen but we are doing it more for us rather than anything else - lockdown ideas 😂 let’s see, will ping it to you one we will have few episodes. Also we were both glued to Boe, can’t wait to get our house so we can get a dog !!!! The bra comment - I actually love the looks you pull with a bit of a bra showing, I think they are extremely unpractical for me in a business IT life, but I got a bit more “brave” in a normal life situation as it’s so cute, the problem is that with a 38D it’s gets a bit of an annoying attention but F it, I’m obsessed with the cute body’s and bras. CANNOT wait for the new presets !!! They are the things that got me in to Lightroom and I’m loving it and starting to step by step learn more about editing not just with presets but also understanding more about what’s changed etc. was sure that the Dior campaign was only the new 999, so thrilled that it’s not... off to see the Secret on Netflix, I was never convinced, just this year decided to stop having people in my life that annoyed me and that I was “making myself” to be with them rather than just truly enjoying to spend my time with someone, I think 2020 gave me some good kicks to shape me up a bit, let’s see what 2021 brings

I really enjoyed that chat you and Alex had in the kitchen Vic, I would definitely be interested in “The Magrath’s” podcast 😘 I have not read The Secret, but I do have The Secret Daily Teachings, which is a book of little paragraphs per page to read daily, I’ve been enjoying starting my day with a one page reading and a cup of coffee, it helps to set my mindset right for the day 💫
I absolutely loved the podcast style section at the end! Watched it while eating my dinner, and I felt like I was hanging out and having dinner with friends. (Which hasn't happened in real life in way too long! :'( ) Really got my mood up!
