Hey guys and welcome to todays video where we are talking next level azealic acid results when it comes to fading hyperpigmentation.. Let me know what your go to azelaic acid is in the comments below.. Love you all x
This is so perfect! In the last year, I’ve had laser hair removal to get rid of facial hair, and now I’ve got hyperpigmentation from before. Thank you so much!
Awww thank you so so much hun and honestly I cant believe it and keep having to pinch myself when I see the numbers.. thank you so much for your support which means a lot to me x
How are we still ignoring the Touch skincare bright & clear cream??? I’ve been using it for two years with the best results. Azelaic acid, Kojic acid, niacinamide and tranexamic acid.
great info love it! I myself love azelaic acid as it does wonders to my skin, but I'm not a fan of different skin care routine so when I found out about Unspotted night serum by Lion Pose which is a blend of azelaic tranexamic, glutathione, aloe etc. It's my holy grail now!
I am currently using the serum “Azid” by Theramid …. It really is awesome… if only you could test it… it is a 15% azelaic acid and colloidal oatmeal.. very calming…
Currently using FT Exaglow. My skin is definitely smoother but no change to hyperpigmentation … yet. Will now add in the Azelaic Acid. Thanks for the video Rob. You make everything easy to understand.
ATM, I've tried the Q&A, The Ordinary, and the G&G versions of azelaic acid, and I'm leaning towards the idea that this particular ingredient isn't for me, at this particular moment in time. I don't think it really does that much in my own particular routine. But this is skincare for you, I suppose - right now my own skin responds really well to stuff like glycolic and salicylic acids, vitamin C, niacinamide and retinal, and the jury's still out in the case of copper peptides. One day I might pick up azelaic acid again, but not today (or tonight, as the case may be - had a bit of a spa night with an exfoliating facial treatment and softening foot cream, will go back to bathroom for barrier-protecting sleeping mask now.) CYA L8R❤❤.
I used Facetheory's Lumizela 15 for about a year, and I believe it cleared my adult acne. I actually went 3-4 months without really having any breakouts, before I ran out of Lumizela. I then tried switching to Q+A, and now I'm breaking out again... 😒 So, I was going to repurchase Lumizela, but now I'm not sure if aPad might be a better option... 🤔 I was concerned that maybe it wouldn't be effective enough, but now I'm unsure! 😅
Hi hun, I think the aPAD would work well but my advice would always be stick with what works for you and if you have had great results with the FT one I would go with that.. hope this helps x
my insurance decided not to cover my prescription azelaic acid 15% ($123.00 cost now) for my rosacea anymore, my friend told me about Dermatica Clarifying Azelaic Acid 20% Cream no subscription needed. Oh my!!! My skin just loves this and does not pill with my serums!!!!! I live in the states total cost with taxes $29.94. What amazed me too is I ordered, and 3 hours later it shipped out (same day!!) I will be trying other products by them (ceramides creams, cleanser and serums) and the do subscriptions tretinoin, may be switching from Curology to Dermatica 1 stop shop. They do 1 free month trial just pay 4.99. Has anyone else used them for subscription tretinoin?
If you have to go back to the Rx form ever in the future, try putting it on over the La Roche Posay Double Repair *Matte* moisturizer (blue bottle). My 15% Rx doesn’t pill at all with it & every single other moisturizer I had did. I use Skin Aqua UV Moisture Gel for spf on top and those 3 work amazing together.
Thanks for this! I had no idea that Azelaic Acid and Tranexamic acid go together well. I have the product you featured (yellow bottle) and use it nightly, not sure what it's doing exactly, then again I'm not not sure what I'm doing, ya know? :) I have some Azelaic acid on order and will be pairing. Loved this video, going to rewatch it again. Thank you!
oh thank you so much hun and I am so glad you enjoyed the video... I hope you get some enhanced results using the azelaic acid alongside the tranexamic acid.. sending you lots of love and if you need any help combining them just drop me a comment x
Awww thank you so so much Jan and thankfully the manufacturing has finished on the latest batch of the serum so it should be back in stock in no time at all.. love x
Hi Rob, azelaic acid is one of my favourite ingredients, my skin loves it! Have you tried the inkey list redness relief one? Looks pretty interesting to me as it has a slight green tint
Hi hun... hope your having an amazing start to the week... I havent actually tried the inkey list one as I was kind of put off by the price point when it launched... I do like that it has a little colour correction to it though so I might check it out.. sending love x
Hi Rob.I am currently using the geek and gorgeous APad-your recommendation from previous videos.Would you do a skin care routine video?I have a lot of products now and honestly I got a bit confused when to use it.I have 4-5 serums, exfoliant, peptides, snail mucin, retinal, niacinamide.Thank you x
hi hun, thank you so much for watching and sharing.. I am actually planning my winter skincare routine video as we speak so it will be coming in the next couple of days so I hope it will help.. love x
I like to do my retinoids first, then layer the rest in order of increasing viscosity. Broadly speaking it will be something like cleanser - toner - serum - moisturisers - sunscreen
Yes! Been waiting for a video on this, thank you!! ❤ I’m using The Ordinary’s Azelaic Acid, which is like a creamy paste, just wondering how to layer it with a retinol and which product should go first…?
Thank you so much for watching hun and I would use the retinol first then the azealic acid as its in a silicone base so it will be better after.. hope this helps x
Hi Rob! I really like to use azelaic acid 😊 for me i think this fixes every one of my skin concerns!! I used the G&G Apad and really liked it ❤ but where i live now i can't fine that one or any other azelaic acid 😢 except the Cos De Baha azelaic acid. What's your opinion about the CDB azelaic acid serum?? 😅
Hi hun, yes you can no problem at all... Awww thank you so so much hun thats so kind of you to say and I honestly cant believe it, I pinch myself every time I look at the subs number... love x
I am currently naturium azalic acid and tranexamic, the yellow tube acid every other day and night really nice results. Being consistent gotten me some great results😊
@@MadAboutSkin im liking it, the packing is great how it has the tapered closure for the dropper. Thanks for the tip on azelaic acid, I am gonna try inky list bc naturium has vitamin C which doesn't work well w my adapelene.
Is it proven that the derivative also fights acne bacteria like the true form? I have been trying to find this out as I prefer the texture of Naturium topical AA but was unsure if it was anti microbial as the pure form.
Love your videos. Im currently using Paula's Choice Azealic acid. This has salicylic acid on it. Can I still use it together with my retinal at night? I want to use both am/pm my azealic acid but i am hesitant because of the additional SA on it that might interact with my retinol
What a great video thank you so much! I’m going to use your link to order! Do you know how I would get the face theory 15% in the states? The link only gives me 10% option? ❤
Hi! Thanks for the tips, been using the tranexamic acid alone, going to ad the azeleic acid for my body marks. In your experience, using azelaic acid and tranexamic acid two times a day, how long did it take until you started to see it fading?
Hi hun thank you so much for watching.. I think it will take about 4 weeks to start seeing results but 6 months to see the full effects.. hope this helps x
Hi hun, thank you so much for watching.. I love Q10 its one of my favourite antioxidants but I can do an updated video on it no problem :)... sending you lots of love x
Guys currently using TO Argireline + Matrixyl combo planning to buy Azelaic Acid for hyperpigmentation & redness do we NEED to include tranexamic acid with it or may the azelaic be enough?
Hi Rob, Farmacy has a toner that has both azelaic acid and 3% tranexamic acid with 5% PHA in it. I really want to t try it but the price point is discouraging. Have you tried that one before??
Oh I had no idea this existed but I am going to have to try it out now so thank you so much for the recommendation I will let you know what I think.. love x
Sounds like I should combine my Bubble Daydream (am) and my Peach Slices AA 10% (pm) lol! I love the peach slices AA it’s really helped with the redness on my cheeks Thanks!!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
My dermatologist prescribed a compounded gel of 15% Azelaic Acid, 1% Ivermectin, 1% Metronidazole, and some Niacinamide for my stage 2 Rosacea. Worked perfectly to completely clear my skin. Now I use Paula's Choice Azelaic Acid plus some other PC actives, and Calm cleanser, toner, and moisturizer to maintain.
Hi, Please can I ask for a recommendation for a serum for open pores, oily peri-menopausal skin. I've tried Ordinary niacinimide (or however you spell it!!) It didn't really make that much of a difference. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
I've had good results with a combination of glycolic and salicylic acid together with the niacinamide, though if your skin's sensitive, lactic or mandelic acid might be a better way. You might combine aha's and bha's in different ways, men on different days, but or use one in the morning and the other in the evening. I personally started with a salicylic acid cleanser which I felt really cut down on the oiliness in my T zone. Or you could try a toner or serum if you like leave-on products. You're going to be the best judge on what your skin is going to tolerate.
I use Dermatica 20% in the evening and G&G aPad in the morning together with tranexamic acid 5% but melasma on my cheeks is the same ( after 4 months). Also tryed photo rejuvenation several times with no results 😭😭😭 what next??
My melasma went away when I changed birth control pills. I always blamed it on sun exposure. Disappeared almost immediately when I switched from generic to brand. Idk if this is anything that might help if you are in bc pills.
