What a game changer. Finally a plugin that is actually designed by a producer who knows what was missing in other similar plugins. Like this is exactly what I was waiting for but nobody was making it 😂
Hello Him, I tried your Kick Ninja plugin. after 60 minutes i realized, that you solved features lacking in other plugins. Mostly it is the automation of every parameter. So I can add distortion wherever I want. The "AI" ability (I think this is little snakeoil term, because smart written script is not AI) to re-create any sample kick in this synth is fantastic. At least for analysys and education. Allready bought full licence.

How clean does the imported sample need to be for the AI to be able to replicate it? It I have extracted stems from a song for example and import a kick, will it solve that?
I still think the most advanced goes to Psylab Pro for sure, has had the 1 click remake sample to synth (pitch & amp envelope) for a few years + linear timescale and all the rest + loads loads more, its kinda overkill tho. I do think your plugin is the more simplified version which imo is a great thing, because psylab pro kinda has too many things going on and is quite a lot less user friendly, oh and no macos. going to test this one out, always looking for new kick drum machines. Hope that there is drag & drop enabled in DAW for Cubase users?
KickDrum is another one to look out for. I have that & Kick2 I prefer KickDrum.. & now this xD LOL stuck for choice. & then you mention PsyLab... Luckily I use a Mac so I can't add that the choice cue xD
@@fallenleaf24 Kick drum is still op because of the control you have over phase. I believe the dev is working on adding distortion/ saturation envelopes to the update as well.
@@shivbhalla9780 you think kickdrum is OP, it's only a small % of what Psylab can do honestly. It's also been around for years doing this well before anyone, the only thing that is a bit meh is the user interface as it has SOOOO many possibilties, that it is not as simple & slimmed down as the rest of these kick plugins. But once you have learnt it, it's great, i recommend watching all the dev's tutorials, because there are a lot of hidden advanced features.
I was looking for a kick generator to help with a live concert I’m mixing. Glad I saw this video before making a purchase. I’ll test Kick Ninja tonight.
How does it handle those huuuuuge techno rumble kicks? Having a plugin that's good for your "standard" EDM kicks is cool, no question. What's interesting though is how it's handeling material that's not "just" a singular sine wave that gets pitched down, but more complex stuff. Techno rumble kicks are essentially created by layering a bunch of stuff - leading to phasing in the tail and thus those "earthquake-like" textures. But they are tonally very, very unstable - don't have a cosntant pitch but more of a "tonal center". And i have yet to find a plugin that can do that really, really well.
Got the demo to try, just a couple of nitpicks, at GUI scale = x1.0, some fonts look blurry, which hinders readability. I've set mine to x1.5 and it's much better (I'm running my display at native resolution). And a small request, it would be very useful to be able to be able to copy and paste settings from one sampler to another, similar to the way oscillators are copy-pasted in Sylenth1. So far I'm really liking this plugin 😀
Great feedback, thank you! Yes, copy/paste will be in the next update! :) In the meantime: you can copy envelope points around. But this is a bit cumbersome of you want to copy all the settings.
This looks amazing. The most promising kick synth yet. I could never get on with kick 2. I'm hoping to make some grainy techno like kicks with this, would love to figure out how to make the grainy kicks like the vengeance clubby kicks 🙏
Sorry to be the "hater" here, but I can't stand the "AI" hype anymore. It makes me wish that I was born in the 1950's, where no computer at all were existing. Golden age of humanity. Anyway... nice kick synth! ;-)
You’re being too nice apologising. AI is right there in the title and one of the main selling points when coming across the thumbnail+title is recreating a kick with Artificial Inteligence. I’m willing to bet there was no AI involved in developing this vst. Dishonest marketing at best. False advertising and taking potential buyers for morons is more likely..
I've been begging for this ever since synthplant came out, wondering why no drum synthesizer could actually do this. It seems like such an obvious feature. Gladly paying for this for solving a major inconvenience I was having.

the pitch tracking is insane , i was always thinking about a kickdrum plugin with ability to track the pitch of sub bass , i think this can be really helpful in trance music , i can't wait to put on test 🤩
