@@stereosanctity7 Oh of course. A pickup is a pickup, any signal can be distorted, even from an acoustic. It's more the fact that he's on stage thrashing with a jazz guitar.
@@moobutt For hollow body electrics, perhaps and certainly for acoustics. However, for high gain on solid bodies, the wood makes absolutely no difference. I should have clarified that.
IDK who you guys are at all.... But the suits, the performance, the playing, and the overall stage presence.... ABSOLUTELY Awesome..... I'd buy tickets to the show for a band I don't even know
That’s bc tone comes from the amp and speakers. The guitar is borderline irreverent. Might get some crazy feedback with the hollow body but otherwise it’s just a humbucker guitar.
@Punpas Metallica has been shit medium rock(not even hard rock) since their first song 🤣🤣🤣🤣 go to any hard rock or metal concert. Noone wears metallicrap merchandise or considers them good. Only low i.q. pussies who don't listen to metal (see stranger things fans)
Lars reduced the base because the group hated on Jason because he wasn't their original base player. They gave him shit for years, reduced base sound and treated him like crap.
@@mitchellcarter9760 John Lennon used that guitar because of its dirty qualities. It was his favorite guitar. He also use that guitar on some very melodic and filigreed songs. It depends on patience , good ears, and discipline.🎼🎼🎼
Literally crazy how spot on this is. Rhythm, timing, and the riff is all to a T. This is no easy fucking song to cover. I don’t even know these guys at all but they earned a fan
I had never heard of these guy but 2018 I was in a hotel room in Dubrovnik,Croatia and I was sick AF and playing with the remote and instantly stopped when I heard English and this band absolutely killing it at a concert in Germany. I was absolutely blown away!
Moshpits do be like that. And if you get knocked over, everyone around you just picks you up so you can continue on your journey towards nowhere with the rest.
I had a 335 dot that screamed with 10s onnit.. All 4 knobs full up middle position Or the front only full up tone and volume...She hit harmonic squeals like literally no other... It was the natural cherry red with chrome buckers and dot inlays,obviously...
@@ianandy1234 nothing wrong with that nowadays. My chinese Les Paul did actually say Gibson on it, it's unbranded now though. Cost £200 and plays just as well as my wife's genuine Gibson.
@@richardclark. That's crazy! It's a cheap guitar and he makes it sound so good!! Better than these people with $6,000 guitars who can't play half as good as him!!! It's so amazing how he's playing with light strings too!! Bro, I bet he can play metal on an acoustic guitar!!! I know a lot about music and Instruments but I think even dummys know that you can't amplify and distort an acoustic guitar.
You know youre supposed to float the bridge after you put your strings on and THEN adjust the action _(by tightening the truss rod)_ on this guitar.. He has the vibrato bar removed in this clip but i bet he used an Orange amp for the heavier bits in order to make up for the missing vibrato bar. 😉 _Sarcasm is now turned off:_ Lmao. Im cracking myself up because i know there are guys who don't know that im mocking them and they genuinely say these type of things. They want to sound smart by repeating things they've heard online whether it's true or not you know they haven't actually taken time to actually understand what they're talking about.
@@blurr2426when they're hit with resonant frequencies from a cab or monitor, he's wearing in-ears. I play my hollow PRS loud all the time with no feedback.
They are Royal Republic. Royal freaking Republic. The best goddamn rock and roll band that came from Sweden. Check them out. You are welcome. @@edwindalessio8417
I can’t believe he played that on a hollow body especially an Epiphone Casino. There is no center block like a ES 335, it’s totally hollow can’t believe there wasn’t a feedback issue. Great tone!
And just like that, a new wave of people understand the sheer awesomeness of a good old semi-hollow body. I have an epiphone casino as well and they really can shred like that.
