On an unseasonably warm spring evening, four friends-Max, Julia, Theo, and Ellie-decided to explore an old, abandoned carnival on the outskirts of their town. Legend had it that the carnival was home to a myriad of oddities and secrets, and the friends were in a mood for adventure.
As they wandered past rusted rides and silent booths, their attention was captured by a large, ornate mirror standing alone in the center of the fairgrounds. It was framed in twisted metal and vibrant, chipped paint that hinted at its former glory. Curiosity drew them closer, and without much thought, they stepped through the mirror’s surface, as if it were a liquid portal.
Instantly, they found themselves in a vast, illuminated maze constructed entirely of mirrors. The maze was alive with colors that swirled and morphed, creating hypnotic patterns. The air was thick with the scent of popcorn and cotton candy, a stark contrast to the stale air of the abandoned carnival outside.
