Neyman-Pearson Test for Binary Hypothesis Testing 

In this lesson, we’ll show how the Neyman-Pearson criterion for maximizing the detection probability for a fixed false-alarm probability leads to the likelihood ration test, and we’ll show how to construct receiver operating characteristic curves for a couple examples.
