Sup brother, I let myself down a ton. Been diagnosed with 5 mental illness's, on the Autism Spectrum and have a genetic disorder. The past few years I just gave up, tired of fighting against something that was within me and I felt I wasn't getting nowhere. Last year, I realized that failing is apart of growing. You fall, but you get back up. So I reorganized everything in my life. Got rid of friends that were bad for me, started reading the Bible again, praying again. Found better doctors that I could communicate with better, and now a year later I'm starting to make progress, not little steps, jumps. Today I had a doctor's appointment that went very well and I'm going to start a new treatment for my genetic disorder that pretty much is going to save my life. Thank you for your positive reactions, all the love you share. Love you and love being apart of this family.

NF - warm up!!

This is the song that introduced me to NF, but it wasn’t until 4 years after it came out! I heard like a 10 second clip on a Reel so I looked him up immediately. It was right after he dropped the Hope video. I never heard him on the radio or anything which upsets me but I followed the journey and caught up SO fast. He is probably my favorite artist ever at this point. Saw him on tour in July of last year! He’s incredible. I listen to him constantly.

This is a song about his father and he never helped him and so he's scared that he will turn into that kind of person when his kids need him it's a very deep song and it can be interpreted as someone else like a lover or a friend not being there for you I love this song and nfs music has helped me through my own depression and bad times and for that I'm eternally grateful for him

Someone might have already mentioned it, but if you look real close the “real music” tattoo on nate’s fore arm is there on the old man nate’s arm.....that’s the key to NF’s vids, so much subtle info is packed in. The outro video is by far the greatest one....gave me goose bumps how he tied every video together

I don't know if anyone pointed this out, but if not then here's what I've come to the conclusion of The silent "elderly man" is the embodiment of his Father The one that sings during the chorus is the older Nate (NF) apologizing to his younger self for not being their for himself back then or being better back then.

I always took this to be a peak into his OCD on the subject of possibly never fulfilling his true potential, (letting down his future self) despite being almost entirely driven by it. As an aside, he floats it as a parallel to his fanbase. If he doesn't reach his potential, he sees it as robbing his fans of something only he could ever provide - there is only one Nate.

I can hardly even listen to this song. My dad died about 30 feet away from me and I had no idea. He had a heart attack and I was watching tv. I’m certified in CPR and I might could have saved him. It eats at my soul every single day. And I replay the moment I walked in on his body every night. I let him down. I wish I could tell him how sorry I am.
