NF is a Christian that raps, so he doesn't cuss (he doesn't need to). His black balloons are his burdens, the shopping cart is his portable cage, and the people in white is his worries (OCD worries). He battles with different emotions in his songs, and he refers to them like they are people. The black clothes represent that he is always battling depression, anxiety, etc. sometimes he will wear black makeup for a smile because people said that he doesn't smile enough. The Timberland boots are just part of his style and swag. He has a lot of great music. NF, Tom MacDonald, Nova, Hopsin, and DAX are some of my favorite artists, and they for the most part have a message. I love y'all's reactions. Keep it up and stay blessed.

You really get to know him that way. Start at Intro....its the introduction to the Mansion album. On a personal note, the song Mansion is probably the realest thing I've ever heard.

I'm sure others have said it but everything in NF's videos and most of the understated lyrics have a meaning. Balloons = Burdens. My House = Mental state/Mind. Makeup/Smile = Public Mask. People in white = comes in over several videos, the reformed/fixed ones. People in black = Yet to be "fixed" Options, The Search, and Clouds are my favorite NF songs so far.

The cage in the background is what he is escaping from, the empty cart is what he values in his life, (empty,) the black balloons are his burdens, and the guys in white, with fewer balloons, are those in recovery with less issues. If you watch the video till the end you will see him being given a white suit, as he is recovering.

NF Wake Up, Mansion, All I Have, Intro, Wait And Notepad (All From The First Album)

Being in the Leave Me Alone music video I got to see how carefully he chose people to be kept in black bc most were put in white, we all had to wear all black everything to the shoot but most of us were given the white jumpsuits and white shoes and some spray painted white shoes bc they had to spray paint some of the black ones white to have enough white ones bc originally it was only supposed to be 75 extras but I believe it turned out to be more around 85-100. The white outfits represent a more pure or “easy” lifestyle but but perfect bc even the people in white, “normal people”, still have burdens, which is why we all have balloons, and the black clothes represent a very burdened life plus the black balloons make it even more burdensome bc they represent burdens. -DATJ Dave Along The Journey

Great insight on the people in white, the cinematic beats, the mind, the thought that this is inside his mind, which is dead on in my opinion. This is his fourth album. Each one is great. The reason people suggest you take the NF Journey is because most of his music is tied together and so you will miss many insights unless you start at the beginning (kind of like picking up a novel and starting to read it in the middle of the book). The Journey starts with Intro and then Mansion etc. If your not quite ready to do the Journey then I would do Leave Me Alone next because it is a continuation of this story. All best and God bless!

Leave me alone is the follow up to this song. But the issue arise is many of his videos is connected so to catch all you need to go through the full journey. Pretty much the whole search album is fire though.

OK.. I watched and I've been a super NF fan for years..There is always a lot of symbolism in his videos. You will have to go back and listen to his older stuff to understand what's going on in this video. There is a cage in the back round of this video, it's from his song "Outcast" watch that, and you will understand the cage..He has a lot of stuff in this video, that are from his other videos. Yes he is a master story teller, you will find that out...Through his music you will find out how he grew up, what happened to his mom, his struggle with depression, and a lot more. That woman laying on the wooden swing, that was symbolism for his mom, and what he was saying during that part connects to his mom too..I don't want to say too much lol.. But if you take the NF journey , I will be here with you two. NF and his music honestly saved my life..and I'm not the only one..He has touched so many lives, and I'm sure his messages will touch your soul as well..

If you start from the beginning and work through, NF fans call it taking the journey, you will get a better understanding of what is going on with the visuals in the videos. A lot of his songs connect to the previous one.The cart with the black balloons represent his burdens he carries through life. His house or mansion represents his mind. NF is very talented and all his music talks about real things and is very relatable to a lot of people. I would recommend listening to "Leave me alone" and "Paid my dues". Paid my Dues is about a article that Rolling Stone magazine wrote about him really giving him some bad reviews about his music. Rolling Stone said something about paying your dues in a article so NF wrote "Paid my dues" in response to their really awful article about him. NF also has really good vocals and sings as well as raps in some of his videos. "All I have", "Wait", "If you want love" are just a few that show some of his vocal talent. Some call him a Christian rapper but NF says he is just a rapper that is a christian. He never cusses in his songs. Sorry this is so long but again great reaction, looking forward to more NF.

Also remember this and real are fire songs that don't really have anything to do with his story line.
