NF is in a different league. I really love this song, it's a masterpiece and I'm really glad you've seen it! Also I'm sad to see your pain, I am sending you and those around you nothing but strength and love, sir. Remember to reach out to your people if you need them.
Alot of these references and artistic depictions are from his other songs ,the "something funny in my house " is referring to the song mansion , at the beginning of the video you can see the cage / cell from outcast as well, which he mentions in multiple songs, my interpretation of the cart is a mobile cage that he can bring along , kinda makes more sense at the end when he climbs in it. Also like someone else said I see the people in white as the ones that put on That happy perfect persona
I'm sure someone else has already mentioned, the sequel to this song is "Leave Me Alone". SO SO enjoyed your reaction to this, my introduction to NF from several years ago. It's a treasure, for sure.
Hey Larry, love your reactions!!!! Glad to have more NF!!!! There are many Easter eggs and so much symbolism in NF songs, to understand everything you need to do the full journey. The song following this one chronologically is "Leave me alone", but I advice you to go in order. Again LOVE your vids, and I wish you the best and your family.
Now you're on to something good my friend!!! Finally, one of his best songs ever!! Thanks for finally getting to this one, can't wait to watch you continue the NF journey
Hi Larry, I‘ve been watching your videos since your first Em reaction and at the start always just wanted to see more Em on your channel, but over time I‘ve moved past that and I‘ve learned so many things because of what you talk about in your videos. You are changing my life and I mean that. You have moved me to tears but mostly you have made me a better person through your honestly and your authenticity. Thank you so much, I hope you will never stop making videos since I can see just how happy it makes you and me too :) I also hope you‘ll be able to do youtube full-time one day and continue to help all of us and yourself with our mental health by being you.
@@larryshair Do FACK for FACKSAKe’s 😂 Do Why Would You Leave Us? I don't think you’ve done it yet. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wOzQMCyPc8o.html
Been watching for awhile. Nice to see more NF. I'm routing for you as a creator. There are lots of ways to navigate it to see success at a faster rate. I do marketing for work and in my opinion there are a few small things you could do to grow this channel faster and to help you reach your goal.
People should bring back bitchin' 😂 This song is always going to be played. It has a great message along with a story about Nate and how his burdens and life gets to him and how it looks around us. Definitely recommend "Change"
Love what you had to say in this reaction, you hit a lot of good points. One of the best reaction to music video channels out there and I have checked out many of them over the years.
Thank you for sharing, I am going through some tough times as well. That is why I love what NF, Twenty One Pilots, and Suicide Boys have to say. Makes me feel that I'm not alone.
I believe he's referring to his song called change when he says "wrote a song about that you should play it" which in my opinion its one of his better songs!!!
His producer and him created an amazing combination with this BIG, Theatrical sound. Love it so much. Pretty much all of his music is like that, aside from some of the Clouds mixtape(released during the pandemic bc he couldn't do the album and big tour to go with, so he experimented a bit and it's so good. The Search and Clouds are two of my favorite albums ever, already!
You got yorself a new subscriber from Denmark. :) I love your real reactions and I respect that you're reacting to hip-hop even if it's not your favorite type of music. And NF is just different. He wears his heart on his sleeve and he's not afraid to tell you how he feels.
Hey... I've been away for so long. Got a little time to scroll through all your reactions I've missed and i'm hyped as soon as I see you react to NF again! I love how you simplify the meanings of the phrases with real life examples. You rock! keep safe!
Knowing his back story and what he's been through, it makes me happy to see NF get the appreciation he's earned. He speaks for so many people. Childhood trauma doesn't magically end when your childhood does. In fact, it follows you everywhere...balloon reference. Great reaction:)
I really hope whatever you're going through ends up the best way possible and leaves you okay instead of damaged. Sometimes good isn't possible, I just hope it doesn't damage you long term.
Songs that need explanation require your contemplation. The artist has a message but he wants you to find it. Very interesting delivery through the component parts. Good review.
My interpretation is the white clothing are people that have hope and the black are those that gave up looking for it. Nate is wearing grey which shows he somewhere in between but is still searching. The shopping cart is the personal cage he keeps around to hide in when he needs to. At the end the white clothes end up in his cart/cage to show hope has been there all along even if he is tired of searching.
Chris, my dude. i'm with you. The struggle has been real for too long and I'm truly sorry to hear that you're going through some crap, too...I should've reached out by now 😪...
Ok so the people with the white clothing are people who fake their happiness but deep down they are sad or worried hence the balloons and since Nate is very open about his problems he still has on his black clothes at the end you see someone in white give him the white clothing which to me translates to "no one cares grow up"
@@Full_Send_Gaming but I do like the take you have on the vision behind the video. It's usually always seen from a mental health/psych-ward perspective, it seems.
If you are going to take on the NF journey, then it would be better to ignore requests until you do the main storyline to understand the balloons (his burdens), the shopping cart (his mind), and various other things that are significantly symbolic, the cage in the beginning of this video, the lady on the swing bench, etc. Of course, my opinion only, but it definitely helps you understand NF, and then shines a light on "Story", and how far that song/video is completely unique from his previous releases. In fact, if it helps, here is a decent list that will help, listen to it in Order. I put When I Grow Up and Nate as starters even though a newer releases, as, for me, thry set a "go back to when it began" vibe. I also think Time can be plugged in the timeline, as his wife and marriage is a significant part of his journey. When I Grow Up Nate Intro Mansion All I Have Wake Up Paralyzed Intro 2 Therapy Session How Could You Leave Us (tear jerker) Breath Outro Intro 3 Outcast Why (some could argue the placement of this song) Remember This The Search Leave Me Alone Paid My Dues Again, these are in order of my own personal journey, but this will put you on the right path of all NF's discography. Another great video, and love the raw reactions, but definitely would love to see your reactions as you follow the jorney, in order.
Hi, sr, hope you're doing well. First, excuse me for my poor language, I'm from southamerica and I'm still learning your beautiful language. I really like your videos, they're so interesting to watch, even when you and I disagree in some points. With that being said, I would really like to watch more Kanye West reactions. Albums like Donda, Life of Pablo or Jesus is King, can blow your mind.
This whole album (also titled "The Search") is excellent, and perhaps my favorite NF project (though, the more common consensus from fans seems to point to Mansion being their favorite but I'll forever respectfully disagree). This album is a roller-coaster of emotions and I'd suggest moving through it is track by track, in order. BUT, before getting to that, I will continue to recommend circling back to "Believe" to continue Eminem's thought arc (following "Walk on Water") from tracks 1, 2, and 3. The themes of "Walk on Water" to "Believe" to "Chloraseptic" paint a picture of his own strengths and weaknesses, starting at unsure (Walk on Water), to more-sure-but-also-kinda-not-sure (Believe), to boastful-and-dam-sure (Chloraseptic).
There is part zwei of "The Search" it's called "Leave me alone" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XGGWhOUYObc.html I'm excited as heck every time I see notification about you dropping NF reaction. There are sooo many great songs from this dude... can't wait for you to check them! I'm sorry you're going through some tough times. It makes me so sad that you helped me get through some really messed up stuff, and I can't do the same for you. I'll pray for you my friend 🙏 hope everything's gonna be good. Thanks for another amazing reaction!
Sometimes let's say you trade one addiction for another, chasing that dopamine you say screw it and give in to base enjoyment for that rush you are chasing that addictive personality never stops you trade in one for another you justify hey this is nothing compared to the other one must have vice big or small good or bad it's all vice in our addictive personality.
Sooo let me try sum it up 🙈 The people in white- are people who have taken steps to work on their mental health. Some still have dark thoughts/burdens/problems(black balloons) that they haven’t yet let go of, but they are working on it actively.. I have seen some people say that the people in white are people who have converted into religion or believing in God, because from what I’ve understood, NF is religious(I believe he is a Christian?).. I think you can interpret the people in white like that too, because to some people religion helps them with their mental health! That they have a God they can give their burdens/problems/dark thoughts over to.. you’ll understand this better when you watch the music video for Leave Me Alone! The shopping cart- a metaphor for his mind. The balloons are attached to the cart, so his mind can’t let go of them(balloons-burdens/dark thoughts/problems etc)… he’s struggeling with the cart just like he’s struggling with his mental health, pushing it forward and there are bumps in the road.. sometimes the cart gets stuck just like his mind can get stuck obsessing over one specific thought(his OCD).. and at the end he’s exhausted and goes inside the cart- closes himself in, going into hermit mode and wants to be inside his mind alone because he’s covering his face and curls up into a ball so no one can reach him.. then a person in white(whom already have taken steps to better their own mental health) sees him struggling, recognizing it because they’ve been there themselves at one point, and "reaches out a helping hand" by giving him a set of white clothes, tools to better his mental health. The makeup- putting up a facade that you are ok or even better than ok, it can be that you are faking a smile(the joker makeup) or social media posts that make it seem like your life is good, when on the inside you are not… this also is shown in the music video of Leave Me Alone where they wipe the makeup off when they are working on their mental health. I recommend watching this album’s music videos in order, because it’s really a visual story as much of a lyrical/musical story! So the music videos should be watched in the right order ☺️ I’m so happy that you’ve finally started to listen to this album! It’s my favorite! The song about changes that he mentioned in this song is on this album, it’s called "change”, not changes as some may believe 😄 I also believe that the way his songs are set up, the way that it goes faster and faster, it gets more and more riled up, is to give the listener a taste of what OCD feels like.. how your mind gets more and more riled up and obsessed on one thought and how that can spiral into so many other thoughts 🧐 and the way that in his songs he’s often talking to himself.. the lyrics really paints a picture of what goes on in his mind.. like sometimes there’s a line from that "little voice" in his head that’s being negative or gives him doubt.. like in the song Hate Myself, it’s like he’s just standing in front of a mirror talking to himself ❤️ The song and music video that is the sequel to this song and music video actually is Leave Me Alone, so I hope you watch that one next 🤞🏼that song really gives a picture of what it’s like to have those type of mental health problems, like OCD and depression.. some people think he’s saying "leave me alone" to other people, but he’s talking to his own mind, the "voices" or thoughts in his head👏🏽
Great reaction Larry! I’d love to see you react to Mac Miller please, you won’t regret it. I recommend his songs Good News, Self Care and Hurt Feelings. 😁
Hey! Awesome video as always! Please do some of Kendrick Lamar's songs, ELEMENT, DNA and HUMBLE would be some of his I think you'd love, they got great visuals and lyrics!
hey larry in "leave me alone" the cart and the people in white appear again, maybe it could help you to interpret more of nate's art :) (or it could also leave you more confused)
Your body is a house is biblical Proverbs 24:3,4 By wisdom, a house is built by understanding it is established, by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious riches.
If you like songs with a good story, maybe you could react to Jordan by Complete. That's some of the deepest self reflection i've ever heard in a song. It's kinda heavy though.
I have been addicted to porn and alcohol for years now and this song hits me so deep inside. That little voice inside that just... not even convinces you, but FORCES you to act upon those impulses... He described it perfectly.
