I dont see that anyone has fully explained. The other day NF put out a 30 sec snippet saying some times songs dont make it on the album for whatever reason. A fan grabbed it and did a cover on IG. NF found it and was inspired so he asked her if he could use her audio and put this out. She was recording in her bedroom likely on her phone. Its dope AF and her voice is beautiful.
I knew this within 10 minutes of it dropping.😊 My son is friends with Mikayla and was on the phone with her within seconds of it releasing. It's a great rendition. I hope it works out for a hit song.

I love how NF's fanbase encouraged him to release a song and just shows how we're able to give back to NF after he gives us music to relate to. It shows the impact he makes in people's lives.
The woman singing is Makayla. She covered a small portion of the song (as heard in the video) and NF was not going to use the song but he loved her cover so much, he finished the song using her audio from her phone recording.

He had put a little sample of this song on his IG about a week back and he wasn't going to release this song but then Mikayla sippen (a fan) did this cover on the song couple days back and NF really enjoyed it and got her permission to use her audio and put it in the song.

Nate made me so sad when he said he wasn’t dropping an album for a good while. I figured especially since he didn’t get the finish his Search tour but still. I got lucky. He started the tour in Pittsburgh so I got to see it in like September 2019

Just the difference is NF has a voice, Eminem can not sing for shit but it does show he knows how to write songs too not just rap like if Em could sing, unbeatable artist across all genres
