Hey guys, were back with another game for you guys and today we have the top 2 draft picks this year going at it in an offensive match up that headed into overtime.

People need to really watch and see how much better NFL 2K5 is in regards to how it PLAYS. This feels like I'm watching MNF on ESPN. Crazy how much people have settled for the current-day Madden

The irony being is that the some of the same people who made 2k5 also worked on earlier versions of Madden if you can believe that. Visual Concepts did Madden games on the SNES. 1994 and 1995 I think. Sega bought VC then sold it to Take Two and they began doing College Hoops, NBA, NFL and WWe 2k games.

I still play it today with an updated roster , the best game ever . Feels like a brand new game everytime I play it.

Nah I think MOST people would love to see an actual nfl 2k25 or so. EA is shady af with its deal with the NFL imo, eliminated all competition when it comes to NFL games. Soon the deal will be over :o

I've been playing video game football since Madden appeared way back on the SNES and Genesis 16 bit era and I can honestly say that NFL 2k5 hands down was the best of all of them and still is.

Love it. Still love this game and it still performs so many things better than madden and animations still look so good. Good work on this update. Wish my pc could handle it

Thanks for watching but yeah you should be able to run it just crank down the resolution in the emulator most pc's shouldn't have an issue running the game since people can run the game on a regular android tablet

If 2K would remaster this game it would be the #1 selling football game ever. Upgrade the physics, players, formations, etc. and it'll be way ahead of Madden.

Unfortunately they can’t due to the simulation NFL license has with EA. 2K was supposedly gonna make an arcade football game but that never happened.

The idea that this game still looks breathtaking almost 20 hrs later and still looks better than madden really shows why WA bought out the rights to the NFL…2K was gonna put EA completely out of business if they hadn’t made that move…everyone like the mechanics and presentation of 2K over EA it wasn’t even close…only true madden fans was playing madden back then everyone else was playing all 2K games especially college basketball

It's amazing how well the commentating holds up, even though none of the players that are in this game were in the actual nfl2k5 release. The annoucing among other things were lightyears ahead of madden, and despite this game laying down a blueprint of how to do announcing, halftime shows, other game highlights, camera cuts, Madden still can't even come close. The presentation is boring in madden, nothing to show for halftime shows, and a horrible re-used superbowl celebration for 5 years or more.

I knew 2K football was going to be a force since it cameout for the Dreamcast... There was no football game like it at the time with the graphics & the commentary... And 2K football kept getting better & better every year to the point were EA instead of competing with it, they throw a bunch of money at the NFL to be the only ones to make a simulation NFL game.... Which is a joke since Madden feels more arcade now than simulation 🤦

There was nothing like NFL 2k5 it's still the highest rated sports game to this day, in my opinion it is also far better than any other football game that has come afterwards esp madden, tht dope helmet cam mode, boomer's introductions and scire updates/replays, espn/sportscenter tagged along, it was full of so many little details and extras it just made it amazing. Sadly if it came out today though it would be full of microtransactions and 2K would destroy trying to make it hip and cool😅

What’s crazy is it was only 19.99 when new games were either 49.99 or 59.99. Mvp baseball 05 was another top tier sports game that imo even beat madden. These exclusive deals killed sports games. Although the show is a far better game than madden

I’ve always preferred and the NFL 2K seryover madden. With Madden it just seems like you wildly scramble with your quarterback and throw it up wih a prayer while 2K you actually have to move your players the way they would actually perform in real life

I can’t even hate Madden because 2K would’ve absolutely bankrupted them if they would have stayed making football games. Just like they did with basketball.

I just think we need competition in all sports games because if we look at each sports game right now they are all in a bad place. Im just keeping my fingers crossed CFB 25 is good and not just another EA failure.

you can head over to NFL2kmod.com (sometimes its down but that is the site ) for all files except for the ISO and Bios unfortunately you would have to find those for yourself but if you need help with the install I have a tutorial on my page that you can check out

You can do franchise you just need to manually edit some of the players names after the draft due to a naming issue within the game

It is but you need the dev mode which is 20 dollars then your able to download the PS2 emulator.

Have some respect. This is amazing work and is much more than Madden is with everything they have stripped down over the years. Us older gamers highly appreciate this mod
