As a lions fan I can’t appreciate how calculated the failed tackle by Walker on Gurley was. He did it well enough that gurley would need as much momentum to shake him off to fall into the end zone inevitably.

I believe it was Doug Flutie who once suggested that if you’re down by 1 and time’s running out, you’re best off just letting the other team score. At least you’ll get another possession and some time to work with.
