Like many I watched all the games. Ravens looked the most complete in all phases. Was some of it competition? Maybe. But they played the best this weekend. If they keep playing like that it's going to take a unbelievable effort to beat them.

Texans beat a very competent Browns team, went to Baltimore and didn’t make it to the redzone once on offense. They only marched into Baltimore’s side of the field twice. I’ve never seen a more complete defensive denial in my life lmao

I'm not a true Lions fan, but count me as one of the people rooting for them to win it all! Not sure if they can get past the Niners or Ravens/Chiefs, but I'm hoping they can do it! They've done it the right way. Their fans deserve it. And I like the aggressive way they're coached.

It took a wild comeback, 4 turnovers in the 4th quarter to pull that one off too. That decade was essentially owned by the Lions while the 49ers were high-flying but never won the big one. What's interesting is earlier in the 57 season the Lions and 49ers matched up, with the 49ers winning that one. It took a last second TD by R.C. Owens, which is known in NFL lore as the "Alley Oop" The original alley oop.

I live in Tampa (not a Bucs fan), but grew up in Indiana watching the Lions play - on a small B&W television. They are going to have to play tough though - the Bucs weren't that much competition. So hope the Lions win it all....!!!!

Josh Allen and Brock Purdy had the exact opposite game. Allen looked great but ultimately crapped the bed on the crucial drive. Purdy was shaky throughout but levelled up on the final drive when it mattered most.

That's not true and if anyone actually watches the actual coaches film of every play again you'll see a different game. The almost interception and a handful of incomplete passes were the only thing Purdy really did wrong! As for the rest of the team, they had some big mistakes that were even worse! In the end look at the box score and it literally tells the true story that no one is talking about.

@krvnjrcbs Purdy still has to make the throws on time. He takes what is on offer and has shown he can make plays when needed. Lawrence is so over-hyped. Bloke has a 1:1 TD:TO ratio. Herbert is elite, but unfortunately his team let's him down.

The Lions now have a NATIONAL fan base. There are only four fans bases who aren’t rooting for them this weekend: the Ravens, Vikings, Bears, and Packers. And I’m sure there are people in those last three groups who are rooting for them as well!

The Ravens also boat raced the 49ers in the regular season. The Ravens would have to shoot themselves in the foot or just not show up for them to not win the SB. From an actual preformance standpoint no team in the playoffs is anywhere near as good as the Ravens

The chiefs at their weakest beat the Dolphins and now the Bills. The Chiefs at their weakest is better than most of the NFL. And the fact you call this the weakest team when they have one of the best defenses in the league now and a healthy Mahomes. And look at Lamar's record against the Chiefs. It's 1-3. The one time they won was in 2021 when the Chiefs didn't have a good defense and the Ravens won by one point. It's insane people keep acting like the Ravens are going to easily destroy the Chiefs.

They are a certified juggernaut. They are easily the best team KC will have played all year where Baltimore have been tested and dominated better teams. And the defense has a DROY(Chase Young), Bosa, Warner, Hufanga, Charvarius Ward (AP2). Thats N I N E 1st team all pros plus a DROY and 2 2nd team All Pros

Burrow/Mahomes is the current Brady/Manning, Allen seems so far like the best he could be is Big Ben, a tall massive super physical and talented QB but had 2 of best of all time in the same conference, but Ben won 2 SB there's still time for him to break through but currently he's probably the 5th best QB in the AFC T1- Burrow/Mahomes 2- Lamar 3- Stroud 4- Allen (Since Burrow is 3-1 head to head against Mahomes but Mahomes just keeps winning outside of those head to head with 2 SB, gimme penalty withstanding, I can't rank him 2)

So tired of people hanging on that strength of schedule trash. The Lions beat GB who were 4-6 at the time I think and everyone brushed it off as us beating a weak team... but fast forward half a season and that "weak team" happened to beast out in the playoffs and was actually great and had SF shjtting their little panties for 55 out of the 60 minutes. Nobody seems to consider that kind of stuff. There's really no such thing as an easy schedule unless you're playing only the bottom 5 or so teams. Lions had the ravens, cowboys, Green Bay twice, KC, Seahawks, Bucs, the broncos and chargers who were both super hot at the time they played them, like come on lol easy schedule my djck

Mahomes definitely put himself out there as a threat yesterday but to me this will be the toughest game he’s ever played in my opinion; going on the road to play a team with a QB just as good if not better than the one he just faced but with much better talent in a lot of different places on a short week as well. the Bills couldn't stop the Chiefs perhaps largely because they were missing half their starting defense. KC was 15th in the regular season in Points Per Game. I suspect Baltimore's #1 defense in PPG will show that KC is not as good as they've been in the past.

I think Rich already forgot about the 2021-22 divisional round, in which all four games were decided on the final play. The first three were game-winning FGs as time expired and the last was that classic Bills-Chiefs “13 seconds” game. This past weekend didn’t come close to surpassing that.

It shocks me how much credit these "analysts" are giving the Chiefs. The Bills defense was TOAST! All the injuries, bad coaching etc. Don't be suprised when the Ravens beat the Chiefs by double digits. This will be the best D the Chiefs have faced by far 😂

Purdy will NOT silence the naysayers if he wins the Super Bowl, they'll still move the goal posts, they'll say it was McCaffrey, Deebo or any number of other reasons. It's almost like the whole "is Joe Flacco elite?" argument that was said back in 2012(?) except they're not saying "Is Purdy good?" they're saying "Purdy is mediocre"

Can u cite the sources of these rumblings? He always states he will coach as long as he has the drive and is capable. The guy is consumed with football. No chance he retires while having one of the greatest qbs of all time. If there were rumblings it would be reported and discussed by KC media.

With respect to TJ, the cowboys were never one of the best four teams in the league. How many teams with winning records, did they beat? Final thought: If Purdy was drafted in the first round, you would be saying he's the next Mahomes.

If Purdy was drafted in the first round he likely would have went to a team where he needed to be THE GUY right away and probably would've fallen flat. Brock Purdy for the Carolina Panthers and for the 9ers are easily two different QBs.

Diggs is so overrated to me. I know he's good but he's never screamed superstar to me. Even when he was in Minnesota and I'd watch him play my team twice a year. I'd even go as far to say as having Thielen opposite of him made people believe he was a superstar. Dude is as overrated as they come

Sadly, as a Niners fan, even if we get past Detroit, we will be facing a team that has beaten us one of the last two times we made the Super Bowl. I know they have some different players, and Baltimore is way different now than in 2014, but it's scary given how poorly we played on Sunday against the Pack.

Chiefs' defense hasn't allowed that many points all year, home or away, so something's gotta give. The Ravens are justifiably favored but 32 pts vs the Chiefs hasn't happened all year.

@@stevenlong4070 In the 8 games that Miami had Jalen Ramsey, they were the best D in the league at 15.8 per game, then the Ravens dropped 56 on them. I don't know if I'd bet either team getting to 30+ very easily since both units are great, but the Ravens are more likely to do it than the Chiefs

Theres no reason based on performance to think that the Ravens wont beat the Chiefs. Theres been a massive overreaction to the Chiefs simply beating Buffalo. Buffalo blew that game. People are just either getting scared the Chiefs are going to do it if they are a hater or else buying into the lazy "Mahomes is inevitable" narrative. Im not falling for it the Ravens are the clear best team left in this competition if they dont underperform they win. Im not saying that cant happen but the game is about what the Ravens do.

Allen is a good QB and needs a good WR. He launches like a cannon and is accurate, but Diggs cannot make even 50% of the passes. Rice catches more than 75% of Mahomes' passes. The Bills need a reliable WR, like Flowers or Rice or St. Brown.

Classic casual NFL fan take. You can't just cut whoever you feel like you dumbass. There is a salary cap. Diggs is over 31 mil in dead cap if they cut him, so is Von Miller. You can't afford to cut those kinds of players. You can attempt to trade and pay for part of the contract if you're lucky.

Not knowing Philly would collapse against Arizona and NY a potential tie would have been the absolute worst outcome for Detroit. A win kept them ahead of Philly and a loss put Philly in the wildcard. Dean Campbell might not say it but Detroit did not want to play outdoors in the cold if they could avoid it.

I hope Mike Evans gets to a team that has a legit chance of getting to the SB. He deserves that. The Bucs are not that team until there are some changes in the coaching staff. That being said, I am NOT a Ravens fan, but if Lamar Jackson stays healthy, I will be shocked if they do not win it all. I would love to see the Lions win it though.

If the Lions O-line were healthy, I think they could make it. Unfortunately they're all tore up. Ragnow is basically a dead man walking and Jonah Jackson just had surgery yesterday and is out. Laporta is only ~65% healthy too. It's going to be a miracle if we beat SF like this

I wouldn't have a problem with Brock Purdy if the media would stop trying to convince me he's some kind of MVP. They can win the Super Bowl this year but that probably won't change my opinion of him. You can win with Purdy but you have to win right NOW. I trust what my eyes tell me, not meaningless stats in a league were it's much harder to play defense. When Russel Wilson got his big payday, suddenly the Seahawks become a lot less scary, they won less games, and they were always one and done in the playoffs. When Flacco got his payday the Ravens struggled to make the playoffs at all. Flacco balled in the Super Bowl but everyone still knew his limitations. When Purdy starts to command a much higher percentage of the salary cap, don't be shocked when the 49ers are no longer a juggernaut. I'll be there to tell you "I told you so".

Josh Allen is a very good QB. However he IS the Brett Favre of the NFL Today. Favre won a Super Bowl but also lost alot of games because of his gunslinger persona... Romo pointed it out on the last drive. Bills were driving running the clock. On 2nd & 9 Allen had Diggs open underneath. Instead Allen couldn't resist and went for the lower % throw in endzone. This lead to 3rd down incomplete. Missed 40 + FG. If Allen hits Diggs underneath, maybe they get the 1st down score go ahead TD with lil time left. At worst you hit a chippy FG going to OT. My point in these high stakes games you have to make the high % decision to win and move forward...
