Most of these weren't. The only ones that were really the actual cadence were Manning's and Favre's. The rest were either audible signals, getting guys lined up right, or calling out the defensive coverage.

They forgot another really good one of Matt Ryans earlier in his career. It was pretty similar to the Cam Newton one as one of the denfenders yelled out what play call it was from the flim like that guy did. Then instead of saying something different or changing the play Matt Ryan yelled back yeah but you can't f'ing stop it. Then they scored a TD on that same play. He has and shows alot more fire than the media leads most people to believe in the games. He is just really PC and bland in the media but not on the sideline or in the games.

This is why football is so great. People talk about how play always stops and all that but it allows for these reads to happen pre snap, pre cadence even, that separate starters from stars. Its amazing and it adds an element to the game that only a true fan or expert can appreciate

To psych him out. If you didn't know, the middle linebacker is usually called the "mike", and QB's will often call/point him out pre-snap if they think he's going to blitz so someone can block it. Yelling that he's wrong just before the snap sounds like a great way to mess with the QB.

The QB points him out to set the blocking for the Offensive line. He would say that he's not the Mike to make the QB doubt the call he just made

Mike does refer to the mlb, but the reason QBs call it out because defenses try to camouflage who is the mike for a given play, it’s not like the qb is reminding the team who the middle linebacker is on a roster, just in a certain down
