it's not that hard. I was 15 when i knew i didn't want to be a housewife. My mother was and is a housewife and well taken care for by my father. Women in my family are a mixture and BTW , we are all Christians as well. My grand mothers and her sisters are also a mixture. And the reality a lot older women are not advising women to marry , anyways and those women were married and extremely confortable

My opinion is that you can’t have it all, that’s an exception. Unless your husband is already established, you have help in the house to clean and pick-up the kids etc, and you don’t have to work, but you work because you want to and not because you need to, then yes, you can have it all. But also the narrative of having it all is subjective. I feel having it all would be to quit my job and be present for my babies whilst maintaining my lifestyle. I’ve come to realise that my career is just a trade for me to live comfortably but I have passions I can’t get to and I would rather be doing that, taking care of my babies but still maintain my lifestyle.

I don't think what he's saying is triggering, however, it's just an opinion. I wouldn't take it personally, or seriously. If his wife wants to stay home and raise children and grandchildren and feels content with that fine. However, we live in a varied society where women have choices. He would be the first to regret letting men subjugate his daughters in the future. I come from a traditional background with an amazing father, yet he never behaved or acted like this man on the stage. He really saw his daughters as capable, whole human beings. I love my father for that. His faith and belief that you can have everything with or without a man stays with me as the most important learning I can pass onto my daughter, who by the way is excited at the prospect of having children and getting married to her partner. You are right you can have it ALL.
