Tee better have a good year this year. If he doesn’t it will hurt his value. He had by far his worst year as a pro last year. He had had some injuries in his career. Nothing major but I think he missed 4 games last year. And 3 or 4 in 2022 as well. He is getting paid 21.8 mil to play one year of football. The franchise tag is an average of the top 5 players at a given position. So he is being paid as a top 5 WR even though his stats don’t signify that he is a top 5 player.
From Tyreek to Mathieu, Orlando Brown, Juju, Frank Clark, K Hunt, the list goes on, replinishing the reciever core going 3yrs straight yrs, revamping the O line in one yr and same with the secondary it's been proven no matter who goes one thing is constant in KC and that's W's lol the Bengals should have got them while they had the chance because the Chiefs are about to morph into an even greater team. The Bengals are right not to pay Tee Higgins. He is a dam good player and if he is willing to play for 20 mil a year I’m certain he would already be under contract. I don’t know how the Eagles payed Hurts, Brown, and Smith. They added a bunch of void years to the contracts and that could come back to but them. It probably will. It’s not wise to pay your QB top of market money and pay 2 WRs top of market money. It’s not. Everyone else on the team need to get paid too. Basically you can have Tee Higgins or Trey Hendrickson and I would pick Trey 10 times out of 10. If Tee Higgins was willing to play for 21 mil a year he would be signed. And he better watch out with that buisness decision shit because last year was his worst year as a pro by far. He doesn’t want to put 2 bad years together and hit free agency. It will drive his value down even more. People were not banging the door down to trade for him this year. If someone had offered the Bengals a 1st round pick or probably even a top 40 pick they would have traded Tee to them.
