You know we watch nfl players get mad at their ratings every year but we are the dumb ones because we buy the same game from them year in and year out.
I'm not even a Bengals fan and I left playing Madden years ago but I like Chase's response to not being included on the Top 10 WRs list. Alot of NFL players when it comes to ratings are just straight up unrealistic.

Derwin James has played in like 11 games and the guy is constantly a 90+ every year. This alone should be enough proof to verify that these player ratings are a joke!!!!

It's cause he's so much faster than him. Speed affects the overall rating a lot more than other attributes. So if they are similar in areas but one guy is way faster, he'll likely have the higher overall.
So I think players judging their ratings shouldn’t be taken seriously because like almost every player thinks they should be in the 90s. Nobody has ever been like damn I think they overrated me

Mike Williams "I am the best deep ball runner" when he was doing short routes he went nuts. When he did long routes he did nothing at all. Had him in fantasy last year.
JC Jackson seems kinda dumb saying his catching should be 99 or 100 and he's a corner basically saying he can catch the ball as well as any possession receiver in history and put his strength at 86 when again... He's a corner...
If you really think about it, JaMarr Chase’s rating is pretty fair. If he continues to put up the numbers from last year then I think they should improve him. Also keep in mind they can’t make everyone a 99 as that would inflate the ratings. I see him at a 91 by next year
Jamarr Chase had one good season I can understand him not being a top 10 but Kupp ahead of Tyreek and Hopkins and everyone everybody is praising Kupp a little too much 😂😂😂😂
Some players get disrespected but some of them i don’t even know who you are😂😂 an 8& for Herbert is good he’s a good qb but if he gets into the playoffs it’ll probably go up and Ratings do change over the season??.
Cause he's way faster. Speed factors into the overall more heavily than other ratings, so if you're signifantly faster you'll likely have a higher overall if the other ratings are somewhat similar.
