11 playoff appearances, 7 division titles, 3 AFC Championship Games, 2 Super Bowl appearances, and 1 title in Super Bowl XLIII. And oh wait, 17 winning seasons. That’s more than any coach could have. What’s the deal?

It’s common knowledge by now that 99.9% of players and owners acknowledge Tomlin as the undisputed #1 choice as the General leading them in battle on any given Sunday period! His resume, stats, etc. are in the books and already cement him as a first ballot HOF coach! The story and history of the NFL can’t be told without mentioning him period! The foundation of his legacy and greatness isn’t even the “numbers” though. It’s the gift God gave home to be a LEADER OF MEN in battle and consistently uphold the Steelers standard of excellence and buisness model. “Football is our game and winning is our buisness” “The standard is the standard “ As a lifelong diehard Steeler fan I’m obviously disappointed in Tomlin falling short of winning more playoff games and superbowls. (Killer B’s era will forever haunt me. We should of got at least 1 ring.) As a result, I cringe when I hear that Tomlin never having a losing season is what makes him great! Noteworthy and commendable but not good enough for us who bleed black and gold. It just is what it is! HOWEVER, as a grown man born and raised in Pittsburgh, I’m more so impressed with how Tomlin faced adversity and remained consistent in his leadership, professionalism and love for the game -all in the heat of the battle!!! Being a leader of men and face of Steelers Nation requires intangibles that are only God given. He was born to be th HC of the Pittsburgh Steelers. No losing season….that’s just the standard! He always took responsibility and accountability and never made excuses for his commitment to leading men in the midst of battle, overcoming injuries, securing wins with third string, rookies, and practice squad players, controlling the media, locker room.

He couldn't win another Superbowl with Ben because of big Ben.

He had Ben, AB, and Leveon Bell. Even if you want to go back to the 2010 team, he had maybe one of the best defenses of all time in football. They were responsible for the Player Safety Initiative that we know today. Tomlin has to take some of the blame for not winning a Chip with those teams. I can't name a coach I'd rather have, but Tomlin hasn't won when it's counted in a really long time.

@@barrettanderson2781 Mike Tomlin for president in my book. I understand everybody might not like him as much as I do. He makes me mad sometimes too

@@barrettanderson2781in fairness, the 3 prime seasons of AB and Bell, 2 of those years one of them was injured in the playoffs. It's hard to win in the playoffs, even more so when your best are injured. Ans the last 2 teams he got into the playoffs had no business winning enough games to get in. The fact he got those teams to the playoffs is a testament to his ability of s coach. Yes, they were one and done, but those rosters weren't playoff rosters.

At the end of this video, the black host tried to give Tomlin Cowher's Super Bowl. Tomlin only went to two Super Bowls. He won XLIII and lost XLV.

I'm a Mile Tomlin fan. But saying he didn't have the QB play to go far in the playoffs isn't true. He had five years with the Killer B's. One of the most potent offensive trips ever in the NFL. He couldn't get it done. A monkey could've coached the 2010 team and won the Superbowl. I like Tomlin. But until he wins another SB, he'll just be a great regular season coach.

We wouldve won in 2010 had ben not thrown a pick 6 and mendenhall not fumbled the game away, even against a hof aaron rodgers at his peak. As a matter fact ben had multiple turnovers in every playoff loss and the killer b’s were rarely all healthy in the playoffs. Not to mention the oc’s have been terrible since 2016 and we had a bunch of impact players career’s cut short. Not to mention having trubisky and pickett the last two years. At the end of the day, professional players have to execute on the field and often times they haven’t. Attempting to put that all on tomlin is ridiculous.

@barrettanderson2781 Canty got heated this morning when one of the production crew, a white guy, said Tomlin and his never a losing season thing was very overrated. It got cringy and uncomfortable and low key racial. Dude was right though. Even though my Pats owned them they are one of the most respected and winning franchises and at or barely above .500 with yearly first round butt kickings in the playoffs is not good enough and not acceptable for that fan base.

@@JussHaten11 haha. Why it always gotta be racial??? Canty got all up in his feelings this morning when a white production guy said the never a losing season thing was overrated. The whole Tomlin act , the talk, the bugged out eyes is starting to wear thin. Steelers don't fire anyone and certainly wouldn't fire him because of the obligatory racial backlash. BUT what good is a .500 record or just barely above and yet another dreary Saturday afternoon butt kicking in the playoffs. NOT NEARLY GOOD ENOUGH for a franchise like the Steelers.
