lol as a sports historian the pansy nfl hasnt played defense in forever! facts! lol all the dbs get smoked at one time or another! facts! the nfl is a piss poor example of once great sports competition!
@@Fred-xo3ku exactly, I've been saying the same thing since his high school days is that he needs alot of work at corner but at wide receiver you can plug and play him.
He just TANKED his draft stock. Saying that he will get paid double is ridiculous. Teams won't allow him to play both sides of the ball in the NFL. As a receiver, his numbers are not impressive. 721 yards. 5 TDS in a spread offense in 9 games is good, but not overly impressive. Rome Odunze racked up 1400-1600 yards, teteroa Macmillan from Arizona. He has good skills but I've never seen Travis hunter take over a game. I've never seen dominate a game. He does not have 200 yard game and I doubt he had 150 in a game As a DB, he is solid but has given up plays. Against Arizona, he was exposed. Regarding his attributes, he's average height, but a slight build. He doesn't possess above average strength. He doesn't have physicality,or size. He has very good speed, but he doesn't have elite game changing speed. Even on Colorado, there's probably 6-7 guys with a faster 40 yard time on his own team. When u talking about first round, #1 overall, a position better have the TOTAL PACKAGE. He does not have it! Speed Size production physicality. Playing 2 positions at a high level is important In college, but in the NFL, ITS NOT.
Haha No surprise here..I have said he was a wr since he was incoming at Jackson State.. I will tell you why. In high school Travis made a sideline endzone TD catch. Now the ball was thrown high and to the inside of him, problem was it was an outside breaking route. Hunter went up high elevated both feet in the air, but he contorted his upper torso reached back and snatched the ball opposite side of his body and kept his body in the endzone for the TD...That's told me everything I needed to know about him at wr. If you a wr you know what I know. Only the greats have that body control and ability to catch the ball...Lynn Swann
Lol at all the people saying he’s a late 1st round pick. Someone even said Shadeur is a 2nd round pick. His skill set says otherwise. How you feel about them doesn’t change their skill set.
I think he’s focusing on more of DB this season but just image a nfl coach getting a two way player and being able to play both sides of the football the kind of conversations CP is probably having with gm and coaches on what kinda player Travis is Cp always stated he can’t choose for him Travis has to be the one who choose what he wants to play
Because the NFL is a different monster. Only about 1% of college athletes make it. Teams don’t want gimmick players they like to put their finger on something so they can determine the value.
I doubt it, he's not durable enough. If he had ahown that he can be durable and available to play both positions game in and game out for a full season throughout his college career than the nfl would most definitely play him at both positions and try to short him come contract time because they know they would have to break the bank.
I think he is a receiver. Honestly I think he is a 4.5 sprinter..Travis can jump out the stadium and he is quick which is just fine...Look up my classmates son ( Jonaz Walton) Central Carrollton high..2 miles from JuJu Lewis high-school..it is a reason I know a lot about the recruiting in Georgia..I got friends who run the 7 on 7 camps..but do some content on jonaz before the " breaking news guys find out about him..I'd rather you put your name on it lol..
@@MalcolmGrantShow Travis couldnt even play both sides in the SEC image him tryna guard Marvin Harrison jr then go on WR and get guarded by kool aid or one of the top corners that’s hard he wouldn’t last in the NFL but a few years he only like 185
Lol Devonte smith weighs next to nothing and seems to be holding up just fine. Him not being able to play in the SEC is literally just your biased opinion
@@CoreyDHollingsworth he played in the SEC tho that’s the difference so he was ready for the NFL I said he more of a WR than a CB so what’s your point are u making
Hunter wants to kick as well. Did I hear you right I heard what you sayd...? Now if he kicks the ball too he will be the highest paid player. Other than that.. .lol
Don’t be surprised if he goes late first round or 2nd round. Travis is not yet elite at either position. He has elite traits but not the overall package. We need to see him against the best WR’s and the small sample size we have he looked slightly above average at CB.
I'd really be surprised if he goes late round. I agree I want to see him go up against bigger DBs. I only seen one db destroy him last season. Which is why I'd like him at WR for the sake of his size
I think he's a late first rounder. I think shedeur is a late 2nd round, early third round pick. If hunter improves his 40 time in the 4.4 he can be top ten pick based off of skill speed and production and potential....
@@Peter-w4s1e Shedeur is not a late first round QB. You can’t name more than 3 QB’s better than him. Shedeur is a top15 pick easy. Great leader, clutch, and has a dog in him that other players will rally around despite coming from a rich background. No way Shedeur makes it outside top 15.
Travis is nice but he won’t be able to play on both sides of the ball in the NFL he might have some packages plays put in for him but impossible to do in the NFL
Many players in the nfl can play both ways and are terrific athletes! However, the NFL is next level and not sure how much playing both ways will take a toll on his body; He isn't that big. Travis can definitely do it, but I think in the NFL he will play receiver only
Its one team that would fit into in the nfl. The packers. Since the 90s they have crossed trained players. It’s that many teams that will do that because of the structure of the organization. He could play db full time and be a will wr
Travis Hunter needs to play 1 position cause he was getting smoked in the 4th quarter he looked tired and the opposite team coach attack him in the 4th quarter
Put his stats up against the best players at wide receiver and corner last year and tell me he doesn’t need to focus on one position. Hes not maximizing either position by doing both. Prime don’t understand what’s best for the kids career.
@@MalcolmGrantShow yes he’s different. But also playing both ways is more hinderance than a strength. Because he is not maximizing his talent anywhere doing both. And also he’s exposing himself to more chance of injury. Also playing 2 positions is not a strength come contract time. You remember a couple years ago Travis Kelcey wanted to be counted as a wide out for his contract cus wide outs made 20 mil and tight ends made 11-12. It’s to many negatives
DB takes much more discipline and focus, in containing your talents. Because Travis being so talented actually hurts many times, because he tries to cheat to be in position to try to catch INTS. While at WR he can just be free to let his amazing talents show (Very shifty, Amazing hands, and jumping ability). He can play either, but WR will be much much easier for him in the NFL.
@@MalcolmGrantShow I think he should fight to do both, and it should be a week to week thing on what is needed that week for him to do. Have to find who is willing to allow him to do it. But like I said WR will be much easier for him.
