As a wife, mother, and homemaker of the last 10 years, I cannot express how touched I was by the way Harrison Butker spoke about his lovely wife. It brings me to tears each time I hear them. So many times when I’ve told someone that I’m a stay at home mom, I get the roll of the eyes, then the downcast look with their lips pursed, and then all conversation stops. I feel the judgment palpably. What I want to shout when this happens is, that the life I am living was my absolute wildest dreams as a child. I grew up in chaos, trauma, and tragedy because my mother was very sick with cancer, and then she passed away when I was still very small, and then my grandfather passed away from cancer only 2 weeks later. My family was so broken, and all I wanted, all I prayed for, and dreamed of was to meet a wonderful man, get married, become a mother, and make a beautiful home for my family while raising my babies. It was wonderful seeing this young man celebrating the vocation of wife, mother, and homemaker.❤️

Maybe if more men were truthful and vocal about their respect for the value of women as HOME Makers and Mothers many would rarely enter the secular workplace. Butler’s true appreciation for his wife and his strength as a man and not bully or ‘superior’ is actually refreshing. Harrison spoke truth against the world’s golden calf… modern feminism… he triggered criticism even from faithful Catholics.

We have suffered from the spineless leadership within our Church’s hierarchy so it is so refreshing to hear from a young laity with great zeal for the truth.

Mr. Butker and these three gentlemen are examples of what today’s Catholic should be and should say.

I found a funeral card for my great grandfather in an old missal. He has been dead 90 years and I am saying a Mass for him. I am grateful to have found it. This missal had been in an attic for 60 years and somehow made it to me and now I am able to have a Mass for him. I wonder what Rome thinks of Butker's speech.

I just delivered my seventh baby four days ago. When I went to his first ultrasound, the tech asked the usual questions, “what pregnancy is this?” I said “seventh”. She asked, “How many live births?” I said, “ six so far.” She then asked a question not on her clip board, “What do you do?” She was asking me if I work.
