First Kayak adventure for the season brings me to the Fox River in De Pere Wisconsin. I entered the $10 per person Uncut Angling vs Everyone walleye fishing tournament that goes from March 23rd through the 31st (Fish Donkey App). On these waters you never know when you could hook into a real Green Bay giant walleye. This video show some of the trials that us kayak anglers go through to record their catch when entered in these online tournaments. I did encounter some problems with my kayak once the temps dipped into the mid to low 20s. The low temps caused the steering cables to freeze up and I was not able turn the rudder. So I had to steer by paddling like you would in a canoe. Paddling did take away some of my fishing kayaks luxury but I was still able to pull fish in and my adventure. Check it out.
