Tokyo Expressway II Drift Course A is in ProStreet folklore of being one of the hardest tracks to break the record without cheesing it. Messing up the entry ruins the run. Messing up the slalom ruins the run. Straighting out on the final turn ruins the run.
my record on that track is over 13000 with drift points over 8000. it would be much easier to use a tuned 240sx or rx7. The rx7 is easier to score points but the 240sx is easier to control. tuning can be seen at this link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HaGBIZhtFTs.htmlfeature=shared. When drifting, maintain the drift as long as possible, don't let the drift point stop. that will make our drift points bigger than drifting then stopping then drifting again. hope it can be understood. forgive my bad english
Bro how i used the RX7 and the S15 (very good setups) but barely reach 4000 on my S15. There tracks like Ebisu and Mondello where i hit 9-10k drift points without grind.
try lower level tires and brakes on your drift builds, they are slower and MUCH easier to controll, also drive with manual and always try to countersteer and keep the gears high
Damn i thought i was the only one not being able to beat it. This track feels like they just set a score which would work compared to the length of the run but without anyone (from devs) testing it lol.
I won once using my own RX-7 but i cannot consider it as a win, because Aki Kimura uses the same car for it and i guess no point of purchasing a same car for a same event...
My technique on this track is to hold handbrake and hold left on the steering at the end of the downhill turn, makes it so u have the perfect speed for the 90 degree turn after it
Yea i already had a hard time on this track with the 2003 Mustang, its gonna be alot more hellish with the Cuda. And why im using American Muscle cars for drifting? I have no idea.
Welp, I somehow got that 3600 points on this track without reversing to finally defeat Ryo.The car was Lotus Elise, short and steady baby :)But I believe it was pure luck....
