@@Thewiseman198 Well Payback was better in Offroad Difficulty, customization in certain vehicles & some characters are charismatic (Mac; Rav; Gambler; Aki Kimura; Holtzman & Udo). If wasn't ruined by the speed cards & the lack of free roam police chases...
@@TokenOP Not better, but, it has their upsides & downs. And also this was the last NFS to ever featured the only car with multiple body styles that should be added on each vehicle, instead of duplicated without a roof; that is the 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe. It makes sense why was cut, its because of the engine swap mechanic and this car is one of the few that you can take it off the hood parts to make the engine exposed. And I guess ghost it doesn't have time to modelled each engine models when you swap the original flathead V8 with a new engine.
payback deserves way more respect than the other games cos it has a astounding story i cry every time i beat the outlaws rush and it has the most realistic flames and characters, ( my favourite part of the game is when mac tries to shake off the bomb and when you drive mac attack and smash through barriers in the mission double or nothing amazing also my first ever video game)
sorry but it is imo one of the worst nfs games of all time, it did so many things better but you had to use RNG to get good upgrades, all of their effort demolised by one feature.
It's just my opinion, I've only played unbound and heat. I will avoid reading answers with fire in hand Car Start: Heat Exhaust Effects: Heat (Crazy flame lover detected) Visual Effects: Unbound (only for the anime/cartoon style effects) and Heat (for the effect the speedometer makes in collisions and during critical damage, it's scary when the speedometer flashes red) Sound Effect: Heat Pedestrian: Heat n Unbound (only for the Cel-Shade) Driving Physics: Heat (although it does get crazy or weird, when you fly out of nowhere) Graphic Terrain: Unbound Graphic Lightment: Unbound Graphic Shadow: Heat Reflections: Heat (for the reflections in the car) and Unbound (for the roads with puddles of water) Ambient Occlussion: Heat Damage: Payback
Nitros and Handling goes to Payback, Customization i prefer heat. imo Payback feel like older NFS games especially the nitro and high speed races. Heat feel like Midnight Club(Those bottles Nos)
@Leiger Laaniste I bought this game very hard and very eager I don't know what added it like this what kind of game is it but when I played my heart broke it was a crap game and cartoonist waste my money 😢heat and payback is better than unbound even nfs 2015
Sounds about right. The fun factor Payback has over Heat is the unlimited health bar and drifting. But both more fun than Unbound. Unbound is just good to look at.
Question: does the lip,diffuser and sideskirts stays undamaged in Unbound? I'm playing Payback rn, have most of the nfs games besides some ps1 and unbound. But if i see the last frames with the damages, I'm def not paying their 2023 price for Unbound rn 🙈
I just got back from nfs lately😅 been out of d action since nfs pro street( yeah its been an enternity) but a lot has change Frm customization of d cars to maps feels nice to get d old adrenaline pumping again. I got both d delux edition for payback and heat.. ghost really hit d spot specially d live tuning in heat.. and d flames coming out of d exaust? Its 100%😍😍😍 Unbound is a no go for me. That anime vibe bs is a deal breaker and... also no more fire breathing exuast😂 Ps. Pls bring back d old nfs sound track😂 80% of d recent ost r total crap.
nfs heat wins on sound, textures, and camera movemnt. nfs payback, wins on npc, and many things. But nfs unbound is trash looks better than a diy project
Nfs payback was the best for me. In every aspects, details, storyline, physics etc.❤ The fact is that this game is extremely underrated. Where Heat was overrated with below average story line

En los primeros 3 minutos siento que Heat "exagera" con la flama del escape ,con las físicas Payback y Heat están a la par ,pero con ciertos elementos en unbound sólo hacen "pop" por último los gráficos no se ; las 3 opciones me gustan ಠ﹏ಠ
I have only played unbound. When I just looked at this vid, aside from the technological advance in graphical engine and texture size over years, it seems Payback has the most thoughtful details in graphic. Either from suspension hebavior, exhaust flash, damage to car and environment… It looks very impressive. Unbound looks good too. But I really don’t like how the fallen trees, bars or even complete multi-row road sign on a highway just does nothing to your car and how easily they get knocked down by a commercial passenger car in the first place. Heat looks a little too flashy with exhaust. It looks more like jet engine 🔥😂. Also, there are some small graphic glitches like front bumper buried into ground, car wheel cover the fender that kind of thing. No comment on gameplay, since I don’t have experience with all of them.
i dont hate the cartoon effects,but they force you to progress day to night to new day and you cannot choose whether or not you want to play at night or day meaning you cannot just roam around the city freely,i mean you can but there is really no reason to except getting to races since you'll have to grind,but i guess it doesnt matter since the city is worse than heats anyway.only thing they improved was the nitrous and handling. but try it if you wish,if you like the game,good for you.
If anyone else wondering it does something better and something worse. It became a little better than heat anyway, won't be dissapointed if you enjoyed the heat.
Nfs payback is slept on, One of the three that I can say actually somehow competes with Heat, Only downside is the cops being only in events and that horrible horrible engine system 😢
