Im glad to see some people keeping this game alive like me ! try to remove all bumpers because downforce prevents the car from keeping the drift and it helps it to launch her more easily, you can set the downforces to zero but I tried without bumpers on my Mustang and I think that's better, I haven't worked on the 240sx for drifting but she's very interesting. + 1sub👌🏻👌🏻
Yeah no front bumper and wing is most likely slightly better for drifting but this is a look that I'd been dialing in for a few weeks so I didn't want to compromise that. Still crazy though that a 17 year old game has these details that modern ones don't even have. Thanks for the sub BTW, will try to upload some more builds in this game soon :)
Thanks man :) Yea the amount of things you can customize on your car in UG2 is insane, and unlike the modern games, the physics actually work 😯 Hoping the next game will be kinda similar again, and otherwise we'll have Night-Runners to entertain us Currently working on another UG2 vid btw
It was great until the Underground 2 fanboys and the Classic fanboys started flame wars and started bxtching about what the true NFS is instead of enjoying good games
@@Ganjatraining thank you. Arguing with these whiney and self-absorbed Classic NFS, Underground, Most Wanted/Carbon, Criterion and Ghost Games fanboys who cry about what "duh truu NfS iz" is tiring and a chore. The fanbase is just as toxic and spergy as the Sonic and Star Wars fanbases tbh. All NFS are true NFS games, albeit Underground 1 & 2, Prostreet, and Shift 1 & 2 are the only ones that deviate from the NFS formula of exotics vs. cops. But that doesn't matter, because a good NFS game is what matters most tbh.
@@dtxspeaks268 Exactly. One person will like one game, someone else will like another. Not liking a certain game doesn't make it a bad game, it's just preference
Yo dawg, I heard you like cars, so now you can listen to garage while tuning your car in a garage. :D Came for 240SX, found a new garage artist that reminds me of Todd Edwards.
@@Ganjatraining Look what I've found ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Qr-TFrCz4Kw.html And yes, Klaus Veen seems to have been heavily inspired by Todd Edwards.
@@Ganjatraining its crazy man , its like games are going backwards and becoming as unrealistic as possible 🥴 wish some mad scientist would remake need for speed underground to for us 😭 id pay money for that shit man
"drift build" - thats not it xD - i expected some real free roam drifting, when you started your way towards the mountain i was like "ah sht, lezz gooo" but then you only did some donuts and some messing around instead of actual drifting, i was disapointed but at least your taste is good.
How were the audio system inside the trunk were visible through the rear window of car?? because, in my PC version of the game, its not visible. Is this some kind of a mod, if it is, I really wanna have it, kinda looks dope tbh, haha. Also, this build is fire ngl
Hey thanks for the compliments! It is part of the AnimationController, which I believe comes with the Extra Options mod. That mod really improves the game, like with the free roam camera and other stuff
@@slof69 Honestly I almost always forget about the uniques until right at the end of the game lol. That's mostly why I always just use quick race for building cars; Everything is unlocked, except for unique performance upgrades
I just bought this game, never played it before, I was going for either underground 2 or most wanted, but I wanted one with some tuning so I took this one. Just started a game and took the honda civic. I like the handling already, you think the civic is a good car to start for a drift build? Or should I wait for something else?
Definitely a good choice to go for UG2 instead of MW05 if you want lots of customization. This game gives FWD cars like the civic way more points for drifting because it's harder than drifting RWD (obviously) so its not a bad car for it 1 negative about the career mode is that its really REALLY long, apart from that its pretty good
@@Ganjatraining arguably MW 2005 is better and more of a NFS game than UG2 but UG2 is still great. The only thing I hate about UG2 is the mandatory Star Rating, drag races being based on luck (tbh), and rubberbanding.
It can definitely be really hard to find the limit of grip without spinning out, but as they say; practice makes perfect. The Jackson heights parking lot is a good place to practice because there's lots of room to try different turns and techniques
Hmmm yeah I've heard people say you need version 1.2, I believe it is possible to patch the game to that version. If you search for "NFSU2 1.2 patch" you will probably find what you need
btw this could be a full blown coincidence but i just watched your video and my career civic actually has the same colours as your nissan - white, red, blue and coral/magenta :D
@@pigeon.6051 I always quite liked the way the Peugeot 106 drives in the game but yeah rwd is still better. I always use small slides to regenerate some nitrous which isnt really possible with fwd
@@Ganjatraining my fav handling car has to be the 3000gt, but i dont have the eu cars in my game so i cant rlly tell you. if you can send me a link to a patch or a mod with the european cars?
@@pigeon.6051 I actually had to patch in the Civic and RSX since I'm from Europe myself lol. Cant remember where I downloaded that though since I've had it for years now

@@Ganjatraining Yep. I made a sick purple Eclipse on this game on my PS3, it had light blue decals and neon lights. My main car after completing the career is a maxed turquoise Skyline with all the special upgrades. Sounds amazing and is so fast and easy to use because of 4WD.
@@sukhdevr3489 The possibilities are basically endless in this game. I can spend literally hours just making 1 car. Btw, how did you play this on PS3? Was it backwards compatible on the first gen PS3 or something?
@@Ganjatraining Yeah, it's the backwards compatible 60GB version. All PS2 and PS1 discs work on it which is amazing. Is the Skyline the best car on the game?
@@sukhdevr3489 As far as I know the Corolla is the fastest car because the handling is crazy good, but my personal preference is the 240SX because it has a little more slide to it
