NFTA Buffalo Metro Rail Inbound Full Ride Front Window 

Buffalo is a much smaller city. Doesn't need a massive transit system. The whole metro area has under a million people.

I'm a computer on metro rail and I figured it out. Those lights on the poles outside are signals.

That light basically js clearance to move ahead once the door is closed and the steps are up

@@raysmith1583 I was thinking more of a train signal. If no light, stop. If a solid light, go. If flashing, you are switching tracks.

Depending in which direction you're talking about, going outbound itll slow down to switch tracks at University, going inbound i think its a minor speed restriction and maybe because of that offside tunnel maybe! Thats not the only station its leaves slow from, it pulls off slow when leaving Allen on outbound side, it also pulls off slowly from Utica on outbound as well

Leaving some stations underground we have Insulators on the electric wire above the trains and we have to coast through those spots until our cars pantographs are clear of that insulator or we basically pop breakers on the train, so that's why sometimes when leaving stations we go slow for a while or we go full power all depends on the location of the insulators. Trust me it's as annoying to us as it is to you guys lol
