This video make the procedure look so simple. A dummy child is absolutely nothing like an infant thrashing itself around while screaming the neighbourhood down, while parents are in tears coaching each other by saying it's in the child's best interests, and you're not abusing the child, even though it feels like you are. On a personal scale 1 to 10 of the easiest to hardest things to do with your own child, this rates a solid 9.5 in my book.
Become very adept at taping the tube with the tape covering the gap between the nostril and the tape that often exists. Get the tape as close to the nostril as possible and try to keep their hands busy so they dont try and pull it. Hopefully they will get used to it soon and not pull at it soon
