Hi Ben. I think the 1923 Peace Dollar looks much better than 62. It looks more like a 64 to me. It must be the scratches beneath TRVST on the obverse that lowered the grade. Still... *>>>------------>* 🦉
I especially like the 23-S toned Peace dollar. I actually agree with the grade on that due to the scuff above the lips and a couple of bigger dings on the reverse. Very happy to see it straight graded.
Ben, a question for you to ponder on a slow day. My observation is that MS Morgans tend to have more contact marks on the obverse than on the reverse. I asked this same question to CoinHelpU about a year ago and his answer left me unconvinced. What do you think? Of course, perhaps your experience doesn't align with my observation to begin with (more contact marks on obverse side). Thanks much!
The 1923-S PE🤮... apologies excuse me,...the 1923-S PEACE dollar is actually a great looking coin, it has a small area on the cheek above the lip that might have kept it from M$65...and the fact its not a MORGAN dollar of course hurts it. I love the Eagle up on those Morgan's !!
