The only apartment that is properly priced is Pemca and even at that price of 20k it should be painted first. Also who goes for light pink colour in the kitchen and common areas? The kitchens in the Thika Rd. apartments are too small. If you are renting 2 bedrooms it usually means you have a room mate or kids and thus you need space in the kitchen to cook proper meals. Even the apartment that costs 45k has no counter space or cupboards to put small appliances or food. All the units need a good cleaning too. I like the Ngong Rd. apartment for the view and the light in the apartment itself but given the condition I think the 45K is a bit high. Maybe that is an average price in Nairobi these days. Am not sure. I would choose either location (Ngong or Thika) but the apartment must be super clean and bright as well as properly painted. Every apartment shown today needs a good coat of paint and coordinated finishings. I agree with one of the commenters that it would be good to have some reviews on bedsitters. Those can be quite small or quite large and interesting to decorate.

Ngong road apartment is worth the 45k , I mean who wouldn't want an inbuilt gas cooker, then the sliding wardrobes and flooring 👏🏾👏🏾, ngong road for the win

Kumbe jamuhuri estate is two I know one only the Buruburu one...didn't know of the Ngong rd one...they are all good depending with your pocket and many other factors like place of work, size of your family, school if you have kids, availability of food , transport fare etc.

What is a house without natural light surely

Again issues on natural lighting are biggest issue with thika road rentals, if you've got extra coins go for Jamhuri one, it's worth it, everything ticks a box from location to modern aspect/ambience. If this period has taught me anything invest in where you live furniture and space.

For 45k, that kitchen needs a little more storage. I like the sliding windows but I am not a fan of a combined toilet and shower. The toilet is a sanctuary and should be kept dry...🤪

The houses are satisractory but Ngong road is much better irrespective of the rates. Your focus on natural lighting is timely and developers should take note.

Loved this review, been planning on moving to waiyaki way, Kinoo, Uthiru and the likes, after the pandemic, would love to see reviews of bedsitter and one bedroom houses in those places.
