A man convicted of attempted murder of his neighbour, and sentenced to 11 years imprisonment could return home, on good behavior, to the devastation of her victim. Her victim, Tsakani Baloyi (41), still reels of anger and fear when told of the possible homecoming of her neighbour, who allegedly dragged her to the bush, repeatedly raped her and slashed her with a panga, and left her for dead. She survived and got him arrested, but the physical and emotional scars are as fresh as they were when they were first inflicted.
