The SABC's Xitsonga radio station Munghana Lonene FM hosted the 17th Xitsonga Music Awards (XMA17). The theme of the ceremony is "vunanga i vutomi" (Music is life). The purpose of the music awards is to celebrate and recognise Xitsonga music artists.
