Red road male at newly turned 6 years old (turned 6 in mid 2020) is doing a very good job. He has coalitions and soon to be nomadic coalitions around him and he is doing well for a lone pride male. I had such high hopes for him and the koppies male. .
These ladies are magnificent 😍 creatures. The Cubs are simply adorable to watch. The mothers are very patient with their young and yet teaching their young all at the same time. Awesome!!

The lioness who’s nursing a pile of cubbies in the end has a tremendous amount of patience and so respectful. Couldn’t get to count how many in total but could be about 7 or 9 cubs. 👍👍
Few questions. How cubs does this pride have at the moment? How many are boys and how many are girl Cubs? Last is the male lion, is he a lone male or is he part of a coalition?
Hi Robert. There is only one male per territory and he will try to maintain control of that pride for mating. But he can always be pushed out by a bigger and stronger male.

Why when they see a wounded lion and he is alone they do not help him? That does not seem right, they are endangered animals, lack of will and conservation programs that help counteract the decline of this animal, due to hunting and removal from its territory, that is about showing wildlife and not showing abandonment animals in danger of extinction
