Fighting has become a lost art in the NHL series. I'm here to change that. In this video, I'll break down the individual mechanics of fighting, that will hopefully help you develop your own combination of punches, pushes, pulls and dodges. Save your timeouts. Start a fight.

I use the jersery alot and I pretty much mastered it, it's really easy, basically... dodge and pull almost at the same time and if you are lucky usually you catch hold of him...

I'm not sure about online but you can turn up the fight frequency and it'll cap at 5 per game

Even though I hate fighting, sometimes I'm forced to do it because my opponent clicks Y and I am usually beat pretty badly. This sure helps a lot

+Travis Langenbrunner You don't have to accept the fight. Or you do something that will start a fight, such as boarding or shooting at their goaltender after you went off sides. Sometimes big hits will start fights, but this only happens with certain characters, like Boychuk. And I love fighting, always fight a lot every game XD

Tdi, you may have seen my comment earlier. Sorry bout that. I had gotten so MAD before because I was trying and it wasn't working. I found out it was just my timing. After a couple tries I can now do it almost every time! Thx so much this tutorial actually hoped. Thx for the great tips

Can anyone tell me when I should be timing the dodge, do I tap after or before? Or right as he throws it? I just can't seem to get the timing down if anyone can help that would be great.

+christopher wells As he winds up. Don't watch the two characters, just watch the arm. When he pulls back dodge.

Whenever I hold down R2 to dodge it shows me in the dodging position but I still get hit. Any help?

so I saw the advanced doge where you dodge then flick the left stick left and well I didn't get that animation....I actually did a jersey on him which was weird yet awsome

+Lucky Legend I edit my videos using Final Cut Pro X, and record my gameplay using the PS4 built-in RU-vid sharing option. Very tedious, but it gets the job done lol. I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been playing an entire season in NHL 16, fighting is all the way up, I've played 86 games of this. Only had one fight and no one can seem to tell me how to get one going. I've tapped triangle after a big hit ect. Nothing. It happened randomly one single time out of the literally hundreds of hours I've played this game. Can someone please tell me how to start a fight?

How do I get a fight to actually start? I always press triangle twice but get immediately sent to the box. When is the best moment you can start a fight?

Either you initiate the fight and your opponent accepts the fight, or you accept a fight challenge after your opponent initiates one. You can't simply press Triangle and jump into a fight unless both players agree to the fight. Otherwise, both players will receive coincidental minor penalties for roughing.

Press L2/LT at the right time (ie. once your opponent throws a punch) to escape!

You got to have heated moments with the other teams sometimes if you get one of the visiting teammates out they migth be enraged and wants a piece of you or they want to go full ape shit on you it did that to me alot
