The fighting should be first person or third person over the shoulder. And it should be frostbite engine!!!! Not ignite. Frostbite is amazing NHL always does everything Fifa and madden do a year later though... :/ NHL 19 will be amazing with the frostbite base. Ignite isn't dynamic enough for 2017 sports gaming

Well it's a game based on a real life sport dumbass. The only thing they can really change is the roster plus the addition of Las Vegas.

Nate Fontana uh... No it's not dumbass. Look at the series before 2012. Different game, different style, improved gameplay, etc. ... EVERY YEAR. there used to be much more than just updated rosters. Educated yourself, ya fool

pmoore8230 ice hockey has a lot of games though, it could be worse like rugby where a game is only made every 4 years. Ya ea focus is on fifa first, madden second, nhl last. It hasn’t got frostbite engine, fifa was the first to get it cause it’s the best selling sports game in the world

Well it's still a hockey game. You most often won't notice a lot different by simply watching a youtube video. Most changes are subtle in the feel and gameplay mechanics such as the defensive skill stick, etc. If those aren't big deals to you then yes, I suppose it is very similar to 17. The Threes mode is new and unique and in my opinion very addictive.
