Problem is the pressure system clearly. Eki played well and for the win and not his fault it’s in the game. You played the best you could but it’s so hard to play from behind in this game

Your skill and creativity far outstrips your opponent. Exploiting the broken mechanics of the game shows a complete lack of respect and sportsmanship on his part. Your play in the zone is pure artistry!

How you defend Eki (and other pressure raggers) is to take one of your forwards and proceed to soft-double the puck handler. Your opponent will be forced to pass to the point in which you can quickly recover and poke check for a potential breakaway.

This gameplay is constantly highlighting how bad of a job EA did with the game this year.

Eki says in like every competitive type video he does, it’s not pretty but it’s effective and you can’t really blame him when this is what the top level gameplay looks like. You either do it aswell or get left behind

Hi from Sweden, I just started playing nhl 24 and have an ok team. I play on total controls but there’s one thing I haven’t been able to figure out, is there any way to switch to a specific player on defence? I play a lot of FIFA and have really noticed that I struggle defensively bc of that. Thanks in advance

The O zone ragging is annoying. Makes the game look poorly made that people are able to play like that without any sort of consequence. I usually quit out of games where players play like that. It's one thing to skate around looking for a good play, but he was clearly skating around just to exploit the game by running the clock out/pressure system fatigue. By the time you get the puck away from him you have to focus all your efforts getting fresh guys on rather than going north. They should make it so you can send it to your goalie for a freeze. That way you have a chance to win the draw.

Can‘t blame Eki. You sit in front of your net while he tries to score and then you score on a turnover. That‘s the game. So, eliminate the turnovers if you are leading. Only chance is to not trail in the game. If you do, you have to be way more aggressive. But I agree with you…then Eki will score loads of goals. I can‘t wait to see his video of this game. I think he will mention some good points in the first game. He leads three times and still you win…
