Little thing I learned, simming during the off-season, you can talk to your players, and have them work on a skill set (improve shot frequency, accuracy, skating, etc. Might help develop players to what you'd like!

I was about to mention this to him. It is broken and can turn 86 overall players to up to 93 or so.

@KevinBrevin new feature out of many so it's easy to forget they added it this year. It's amazing, helps GMs have specific players develop toward whatever stats they feel are needed to win. Many players don't Sim like they play irl, Suzuki being an example, he's a 30 goal guy but he's lucky to hit 20 in every Sim. 3 off-seasons of having him focus on putting more shots on, for 2 seasons he's had 30+ goal years. I've also noticed massive growth like you mentioned with a bunch of other players as well. EA pretty much nailed it with franchise mode this year, I wish they'd speed up the menus, and add a player comparison option to better compare specific players, other than that, it's perfect.

Toronto taking a year off the playoffs to get McKenna and then going to the final is rough. Also interestingly, those 3 goals Van scored in a row were all PP goals, so it would have been fun to go to the new game stats menu to see if that was a major.

I suppose it’s time to let McTavish go if he underperforms this season. Same thing bout Terry. Both have good skill-set and overall with x-factors but cmon, the numbers ain’t there whatsoever. 2nd line should definitely reach 65 points +. Also really like Weeger on 1 d, let’s hope for the best.
