Be A Pro is a complete joke of a game mode now! Anybody that buys this game for full price should reevaluate your spending skills. This game is 20 to 30 bucks at best. Get it on sale for 50 something dollars in NOV or wait until sometime in March when it’s 50% off.
Well Be A Pro looks like hot dogshit stuck to a rusty shovel, but at least GM Mode looks like it'll be fun! The UI change is such a simple but impactful fix - EA should've did it 5 years ago

Ehh I’m still disappointed the lack of customization for what should be a sandbox game mode is really sad. Im concerned that the no movement clauses can’t be turned off especially if the computer GMS use them badly. Still no gm tracker is also super disappointing and generational glitches still around is so EA. The game logs and box scores are nice for sure but its not enough to get me excited since every other sports game has had that for decades.

I'm playing it with a 33rd expansion team and there's already another new glitch, the goalie turns into a skater after applying team colors in the goalie equipment category😂 I mean in the customizing screen (not making a joke about switching player positions and styles). I guess they had to sacrifice memory from that to make the franchise mode hub look more like the pro mode hub. They also removed the draft timer while in the process of making trades at the draft. And when u got back to the tade screen it shows the last trade made, we gotta remove the assets from the trading slots even after the trade is already complete. The no trade/no movement clauses makes up for it
I’m gutted year after year we ask for a decent career mode/be a pro and we get the same shit mode same loading onto the mountain that leads to the locker room always the same The perks and load outs the same there’s no character no story it’s disappointing I play games with a career mode for the story We have create a character to immerse ourselves in that game would it hurt to give us a story to go with it
I don't think the responsiveness issue was a prioritizing graphics over performance issue. I think it was carrying the game on old gen that caused the issues. Now that it's fully optimized for current gen

They need to make Be A Pro a full sandbox game. That you can do anything you want with it, whether you want to make it a simulation of hockey in the 1950s, or an arcade version of your own likings. To make it so we can customize every rule, every players and every league. None of these stupid cutscenes, just do what they did in NHL 14, no cutscenes, with more variety of questions. Let the player customize whatever he wants, whenever he wants.
Johnny you should pick the flames for your GM mode. In my mind they are in the perfect spot for you to take the helm, 1/2 a year into the rebuild, a weak team with some potential in net and some prospects to grow from the start. Would be a fun watch!

FINALLY gm mode looks like it'll be easier to do a full season. Ive been uninterested in the new consoles because it still looked so damn slow and its really the only game I'll play on a ps5 since i have a beast of a pc
it’s still the same shit game underneath all of the “new” things they’ve added; I played two games of EASHL and the A.I. is still completely inept on defense, cross creases are still the primary way to score. it’s literally a copy and paste.
