🎶🎶I was LIGHTNING before the THUNDER..........THUNDER feel the THUNDER (NUCKS>NUCKS>NUCKS) TAMPA then VANCOUVER🎶🎶 Again THUNDER is the alter ego of the ORCA LOGO referring to THUNDER, descendant of TOOTHLESS of HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, NINE (9 JT MILLER's jersey) REALMS
East coast teams, especially in the Us North east have the easiest time and travel schedule. At least these games were two early back to backs. Vanouver’s games are shifted to earlier quite a lot on weekends/holidays for eastern teams’ fans and kids/families. This is trend so there’s a lot more of these early games. Can’t imagine US teams wanting to play with 7:30 pm start very often to even it out if it’s an advantage
As a Caps fan, I didn't realize this would be the end to an otherwise very satisfying game shown by both sides. Also, the fact that Ovi wasn't on the ice at all in OT worries me slightly that he might be injured but didn't want to leave the bench.
I wouldn't be worried about that. 3 on 3 is a different game...especially with today's young skater's. At his age he's better suited 5 on 5 and special teams.
Wait till the playoffs and the Canucks shoot the puck over the glass, take a too-many-men penalty after a botched line change, yield up a shorthanded goal, get an undisciplined penalty to take them off the power play, or miss the empty net on a long shot and in the ensuing faceoff give up the deciding goal. This is a team with Stanley Cup aspirations?
Big win & 2 more points for the Canucks as they grind out the 3-2 win in Overtime...Boeser & Lindholm continue to struggle over the last couple of games, & it wasn't JT Miller's best game today either as he struggled to create much offensively & lost the Majority of Faceoffs he took, but then came through clutch with the game winning goal in overtime...Demko was easily the best player on the Canucks making 31 Saves for a 1.85 GAA & .939 Save percentage...One thing the Canucks need to address is the slow starts recently as they have given up the 1st Goal of the game in 6 straight games...Canucks look to finish this road trip strong with a win over the Blackhawks which would give them 7 out of a possible 10 points...
@scottstenlund433hes not getting 8 million and its reported they’ll try to get a team friendly deal, idea is to get it done to keep him and Petey, Lindholm had 3 shots and 80% in the dot
After Boston and Detroit, I really thought this team had entered a rut and were going to lose this game. Especially against a team who have a superior win record over them. This was a massive, massive win that was needed for the team before they head back home, because now they've a good run on the way to re-assert their big lead in the overall standings. This game might just be the perfect way of saying that the Canucks are making the playoffs no matter what happens after this game.
Washington shut out Boston yesterday, and today they took the Canucks to overtime. 3 out of a possible 4 points from the top 2 teams in the league. The Capitals has played well the last couple games.
Ovechkin always seems to have an extra step in his game against tough opponents. The NHL owes everything to him and Crosby for taking this league to the next level.
@@bianconeri_ Why would it have been 4 of 4 if McMichael hadn't made that pass? The Caps wouldn't have won the game there. It would have gone to a shootout.
Nils Höglander born in Bockträsk, Västerbotten, Sweden. From road 45 between Sorsele and Slagnäs you turn onto a gravel road. There, another 13 miles, through wooded and secluded areas, before you arrive in Bockträsk. A small community with approximately 20 inhabitants. 522 miles from Stockholm. Never stop dreaming!
I've always felt Hoglander has top 6 forward skillset. Pretty sure Toch knows this too but is trying to coach Hogs in a way where he can get him to work for it. Hog is a very coachable player from what I've seen and responds well to challenges
It's one of the things the coach in Rogle (Where he played in Sweden) mentioned when he came over too. 'He is a skilled player but needs to work on his defensive game. Luckily he is a very coachable player'
Since the AI generated trash highlight video did not show it: the third period was full of ten bell chances for the Caps of which they could not convert, followed up with another series of ten bell chances in overtime of which they also could not convert.
i'm commenting at 40 seconds in, but since the Elias Lindholm trade, Canucks haven't scored first, and they've had back to back losses. Keeping an open mind, but the team doesn't look the same...
Mr. Demko was extremely focused last night, I appreciate good to great goaltending, the Capitals seemed to have devolved into a team that is watching to see if Mr. Ovechkin can surpass the NHL goal record, which realistically will probably take a couple more seasons, imho
The Caps' hitting was intense, like in a playoff game and they finished their checks, especially in the first period. Like it or not, the lighter players will feel the impact as we move towards the playoffs if the Canucks play enough of this type of games. So far, the team has been relatively healthy. Shutter to think what if they lose Hughes. I know he's illusive and sees the game well. But even Getzky got pummeled twice.
Three games in a row now that they gave up an early goal, and for quite a few games now (minus the first Lindholm game) the top two lines look sluggish… hope they can figure out a way to bust these trends…
J.T. Miller and the Vancouver Canucks wins in overtime against Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals 3-2 🏒🔵⚪🟢🇨🇦 Vancouver Canucks improve to 35-12-6 in the season, while the Washington Capitals fall to 23-20-8
sportsnet gotta fire whoever edited this video dawg, half the clips were boring af, third period completely skipped, a lot of clips missing the previous 5 seconds of context havent seen a video edited this bad for a long time
@@josephvelea1795 They barely avoided a four game losing streak, are 6-1-3 in the last ten, have an unsustainable PDO and are 6th in the league in shorthanded goals allowed. That puts them in company of the Sabres, Canadiens and Flames.
Oooops, Vancouver gave Washington Capitals a awful taste of their own medicine. The announcers from Sportsnet Canada mention thank you, thanks and let's go home ( and watch the Super Bowl)!
