It took Buffalo and Columbus to embarrass them enough to let go of Samsonov...they have been solid ever since. It's great that they're finally playing 60 minutes of hockey. Gonna be interesting how they play vs. Avs, Oilers, Canucks and Jets.

He's actually slowed down recently and 1 goal and no assists on a 7 goal night for the Buds isn't what you'd hope for him but still a great team win and onto another 👌

We need him to score one on a tie break, one when it matters overall, and this year he has been doing that, or at least getting points on those situations. The whole team played well last night, so that's a big plus

wrong BOZO! the game was on TSN with Canadian announcers. but Sportsnet always uses the US channel for its highlights rather than its competitor TSN - because TSN owns the rights to the games they broadcast.

No this is not the broadcast that is shown on Canadian cable, they use Canadians for that one

He is slow. Going to the front of the net does not mean you are fast. It means you are tenacious.

You find him there because he doesn't need to skate lol. Kidding aside, his strength has always been in front of the net in tight areas.

he is NOT slow. in past year yes, but he worked on his skating this past summer and he massively improved his speed.

They ought to just give them the Cup because they are so talented and beat some "stronger" teams and are just generally awesome. The cup is won to the ones deserving of it. The Leafs have not been "deserving it" since 1967. I am a Leafs fan. I am bound to not see this team win a Cup for dunno how many more years, but I still like the sport and like seeing the team win. Why are you being so defensive in that regard?
