I don't think that Ovi and Sid ever really had much of a beef. They're just passionate competitors. They always seemed to have a mutual respect for each other throughout their NHL careers. A lot of players will get into fights, laugh about it, and shake hands afterwards. Just part of the game.
I once told a guy at work how I despised hockey fights. He replied it was better to have these goons fight each other on the ice than to have them wait for you in a dark alley...
What a braindead reply. He must have been stupid or you annoyed him by not licking hockeysack. The lack of impulse control here is staggering and this sport (like many others) excuses violent actions that has no relation to the sport. Breaking the neck of someone is attempted murder no matter how you spin it.
Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin do not hate each other anymore, and it was more based on competitive elite-level rivalry. Both men had in there early days tons of expectations and there teams being division rivals further ignited tensions. Both wanted to win badly! They have today genuine respect of each other and even some admiration of each other's skills as well.
@@WarioSaysSo for sure. Was just saying, Pens-Flyers/Rangers/Islanders are division rivals. The Caps are just cunts from a soft ass division that they ran away with for a decade.
@@michaeloliver1143This guy running this channel is a bum. Has no idea about what he’s talking about, as much as he wants to believe he knows what he’s talking about. He just doesn’t.
@@user-nq9gt6qd6g Stevens isn’t considered a legend just because of his hits, he also put up big point totals early in his career and most importantly he won championships. If Stevens didn’t have multiple rings he wouldn’t be considered a legend
GREAT WORK! I don't usually like this sort of thing between players but this is how it's got to be done! Thank you for leaving the F-bombs in. It's very annoying to have them bleeped out. Only Critique: Maybe try having subtitles for the profanity text on the screen it would make it a TINY bit more enjoyable. Seeing the phrase "you're a fucking loser" on the screen while two players are in each other's faces is rather cinematic. And hilarious.
Steve Moore could have just as easily done similar permanent damage to Markus Naslund in his completely reckless elbow to Naslund's head. And Moore could have stood up like a man and fought Bertuzzi but he kept cowering away from him. In that rough and tough sport you reap what you sow!
@@MikeHoncho610 yessirr he was a menance. And well they did have a 3-2 series lead going into game 6 which means they could've won the cup in game 6 and the series 4-2 on the road but the bruins rallied back by winning game 6 to force game 7 so they could've done it at home in Vancouver in game 7 but they got blown out and the bruins won the series 4-3. The canucks coughed up a 3-2 lead at the worst possible time and they did have a laundry list of injuries unlike the bruins so that did tire them out I am sure. Im glad boston rallied back and won but I got respect for what the canucks did too
Vegas players are dirty... even just last night faked a highstick hit against the Canucks, seeing the scrap in this just makes my feeling of Vegas being the villain of the nhl stronger lol
The Marchand thing always blows my mind. How is it everyone talks about this incident against Tampa like its the first time its ever happened? He did it to Komarov before this and im pretty sure it wasn't even that long before this incident. Sonething like April 18th to May 4th.
Avery never stepped up to any of the goalies who could fight, if he had tried that shit with hasek he would've got a stick and fist to the face without warning. Hasek didnt take shit from anyone in his crease and i loved it
His "I had no intention of hurting you" line was such BS, he sucker punched Moore, what other intentions are there behind a sucker punch. I couldn't stand him after that incident
It was nice to see Tom Wilson lifting the Stanley cup, and reeves had to watch, from the the locker room IN HIS OWN HOUSE. Though I guarantee if reeves played with him they'd be best friends.
Steve Moore? Millions? The dude was not a scorer, not a goon, not even a role player. He had abysmal stats even in the AHL. He would have been out of the league 1 or 2 years later anyway without ever signing a big contract.
It wasn't Millions, 2nd Steve Moore was in His 2nd Year, 3rd Todd Bitchuzzi had Been enraged over a Similar Incident earlier that year against a Different Team. 4th he Ended the Hockey Carrer of Moore not just NHL but HOCKEY, so maybe look up facts before writing some dumb shit you can't back up.
@@martins.1837Do you have some form of disability? The guy in the video clearly said that Bertuzzi prevented Moore from making millions. That's just nonsense. What Bertuzzi did sucks, but it didn't prevent Moore from making millions, we're talking 2004 not today. He never would have done that with his stats and talent. He scored 12 points in 69 games (despite his line mates Sakic and Kariya) in 3 seasons not 2, and you're talking about facts and can't even get the stats right. Even in the AHL he only scored 0.42 points per game. He was already 25 years old at the time of the incident, long past his talent age. What do you think the big scoring explosion is going to happen here... He probably made more money with his lawsuit than he ever would have in his hockey career. So maybe look facts up before writing some dumb shit you can't back up.

You have zero clue what you’re talking about. It changed the man’s entire life. Steve Moore went to Harvard. He couldn’t work PERIOD. That is easily millions!
13:17 That's incorrect. They traded both Hoffman and Karlsson to the Sharks. Hoffman was traded from Ottawa to San Jose, then a couple of hours later San Jose traded him to Florida. Because of the Hoffman trade and flip there was an additional conditional 1st round pick in the Karlsson trade that would've been sent back to the Sens if San Jose traded him to a team in the Eastern Conference before the upcoming 2018-19 season (the final season of his contract) ended.
Steve Moore should’ve been a man and accepted the fight. He knows what he did wrong. Bertuzzi was in the wrong too, but if Moore manned up and accepted the fight, he would’ve lived to play another day.
This is complete false…. Bertuzzi is a piece of garbage for what he did. The hit was clean on Nasland you need to do your homework before you make such an ignorant statement.
Yeah yeah that stuff all happened between the 2 legendary, ovi and Crosby but now you do not even know how much respect they have for each other they’re Best buds now and that one hit from ovi on Crosby… ovi was joking around they both do it each other like I said they’re pals now
lol no Y'all always say that to excuse the rat. He's a cancer who just happened to have fans in the front office. Most under-suspended player in history.
Milan was just going after the puck. Miller came out into no mans land trying to make a play. Those are the chances you take when you leave the safety of your crease!
That last hit, and the apology was such bullshit. I think there was a lawsuit filed if I remember right, but it's been so long that maybe someone can tell us
You got one of these wrong my dude. Crosby and Ovechkin might’ve disliked each other for a minute but those guys actually talk in the off-season. The only person Crosby hates is Claude Giroux.
