Classy move by the Jets to honour Bryan Little. Jets fans did not actually honour Rutger, but he deserved every bit of it. Looks good on him, toiling in the AHL so soon. Seems like every move Dubas makes in Pittsburgh backfires on him. Now it's Bunting. Was watching a Blues highlight reel, said "wow.. who's #6?, he's really good. Course it's Broberg. Wonder where Liljegren is going... my guess is Utah, but Oilers are a possibility as well. Pettersen and Tocchet may not be hitting it off too well.
@dbrownss1480 Left side was full with Ekholm, Nurse, and Kulak. He didn’t want to play on his weak side. Broberg made the right choice by picking St. Louis, it was a good fit. He’s literally thriving on his strong side. He hasn’t given up a 5v5 goal so far.
@dbrownss1480 Yeah, he was locked to the AHL, but he had multiple chances to break the lineup and couldn't. Desharnais made it before him. Broberg looked ready in the playoffs. The word is that he was offered deals but he declined them. And then the offer sheets happened.
Regarding Pettersson, I wouldn't be surprised if he's a bit on the spectrum. He doesn't show the same warmth or personality, give the same social signs, have the same body language, etc. Remember his Swedish championship teammates called him "Alien"? 👽
@@popeyesailor9571 I'm merely noticing some attributes shared with folks that I have known that are on the Spectrum. I can't say if he is for sure. He could just be a quiet, typical, Swedish guy. He could be just more cerebral. He may not be able to fully articulate himself with English. There are lots of other possibilities and I'm not a testing to the veracity of my opinion. I actually like being wrong. I am all the time, ask my wife.
People make up all kinds of things Maybe he's just him,different cultures/upbringing ect makes people who they are. Why try and say it's a medical thing or on spectrum?

Looks like 6 teams have made the playoffs after going 0-5 since expansion, assuming the worst for nashville, how about 0-6? I couldnt find that stat anywhere
My feeling at the time was that Pettersson was bullied by "the market" and the team to sign. Remember, he was not going UFA. He was going into his last RFA yr w/o a contract. So, it's not the Marner or J. Gaudreau situation but VAN was whipped into hysterics anyway. All of it was only going to escalate. Imo, you can mark his signing as the date his play fell off. Still, if he's that sensitive & nursing a grudge or something, all of it is on him. Play for your teammates.

There is no way anybody takesStammers comments the wrong way. The coach probably relayed that message to the team after, he was basically just saying they have to focus on the next game and get results. There is nothing wrong in saying that.
