Back in 2016, I found a box labeled "Sega" in my basement. Years prior, I got into retro gaming thanks to various Mario and Sonic flash games, so finding out my family had a Genesis the entire time blew my mind. It happened to be my dad's from college, and had one game: NHLPA '93. As someone who grew up mainly with HDMI, i didn't know how to hook it up. One day I got home from school to find the guy working on a bathroom renovation hooked it up to the downstairs TV. Now the console's connected to my retro gaming setup along with an old Magnavox CRT, a GameCube and a Wii I restored and modded with ebay parts. I find myself playing it from time to time, and I even have an everdrive for it!
