Bruh. I was a inglewood dude. I was from a mornigside high school click but never really banged. During my stint in CYA the Crenshaw mafias and family’s and others recruited a lot of my homies into real hoods. When I hit Sylmar juvenile hall I would tell dudes I’m from Inglewood but didn’t bang. Some of my homies like Elbo from CMG told me keep your back against the wall and be ready to get down cause just being from the city is enough. The crips had me in a classroom dissing every inglewood hood to see which one would get me to feel a way. In the middle of that Dulow was just walking down the hallway and recognized me from the city. Walking past him when I was going to crozier. Man that dude walked in and started asking me which one of these 🦀 is fuckin wit you blood. He was pointing in their faces wit his finger damn near on their forehead. They was mumbling and shit. I aint no 🦀. That dude was a fool. Loved him forever for that. Made me be less afraid. It’s like he transferred some of his gangsterism to me. All them dudes looked less scary to me after that. Got down with a few of em just to demonstrate. A real leader of men and soldier. He coulda been a real general in a military

Subscribed! About time a good story about N'Gai aka Big Dulow (RIP) was said, his stories are always interesting and almost mythical like. I first heard about him from being around one his close family members. They told me how he was considered the King of Inglewood and a protector of many especially those he cared for. In the UK I linked up with one of Fat Joes goons from the Terror Squad and they mentioned how he was one of their guys they checked in when in LA and how tight they was. I could go on with the stories, there needs to be a Netflix movie or documentary about his life, my opinion. Salute from 🇬🇧

I played basketball with N'Gai at the Y in Inglewood. We were on the same team. The gym would be packed for those games. I remember him well. I never knew his legend until years later. RIP N'Gai

I will always be a Inglewood nigga at heart and can honestly say that my heart and style of banging is something I got from seeing N'gai bailin', banging and doin his thang. Never really saw him in red back then. Market was of the hottest streets for NHP back then. I remember Dolow he used to be with baby snake Lil Psycho Hound and the homie Big Rocky all from neighborhood 20s when I first met blood I thought he was from 20's but he quickly let it be known this is Piru I remember we was getting into it with some dude from Harlem 30's. DoLow baby snake and Louis Aka big Boo from 20's jumped out and start helping us fight. I'm from CityStones. I remember Dolow from that early mid 90s era. My Uncle used to own The magnificent Ice Cream shop directly across the street from Inglewood High and the hair shop Wezzy’s next door. I remember first hearing his name and meeting him there. I used to work there after school. I went to Westchesterter. This was 1988 when him and all of them from all sections would come in and be there hanging out. He was cool with me and never bothered me. Another dude that was cool with me was dude named Trouble. I think he was Queens but I can't remember.
